It cannot be understated of how much she permanently damaged the gaming industry. Everything and I truly mean Everything that has been bad in video games since 2014 has it's origin with her and Zoe Quinn other than basic corporate greed things like microtransactions.

If they hadn't made article after article about how gamers were dead and that only loser crybabies care about ethics in games journalism, no one would have paid attention to Matt Jarbo's video or Metokur's follow ups. Even fucking 4chan was in on the scam. While it was an open secret that games reviewers were taking bribes for their reviews, gamergate was the first time the journalists actively tried to fight the perception and just made it even more obvious that yes, they are corrupt and don't want to be called out on it.

I will go against the tide here, and say I actually like Drinker’s videos.

The only criticism I see on this thread that might sway me to dislike him, is the possible plagiarism.

But otherwise, him making some lazy videos, and critiquing celebrities he dislikes, and just making videos to chase trends for money, just makes him, and average YouTuber. They all do that. That’s hardly supervillain or lol cow material.

I think his paper thin criticism on some topics, , outdated views on movies, and super narrow view of masculinity are far more valid points of criticism that even I would agree.

In fact I think he is based for giving people “the message” meme as a weapon against woke babies.

Plagiarism concerns aside, I’ve yet to see any criticism on him that isn’t just complaining about something all big YouTubers do and isn’t just thinly veiled excuse to hate on him for having” le right wing “views. And even at being a “right wing chud” he is very milquetoast.
