Jesus Christ, when I read kid I assumed it was like he was in his early 20's, and the "kid" was a teenager but beating up an 11 year old is fucking wild. Like how could he possibly explain that. And being married and talking about women like he does is also pretty skeevy, like surely his wife hears him unless she's just never watched one of his videos. I mean it's not as bad as what the quartering does but it's still kinda shitty to do to your spouse.
I dunno, how he explains his books and movie being shit, dodge it and act cocky. Then again, reading his books the "mid life crisis" shit really is on the nose.

He has three kids according to wikipedia, so maybe it had something to do with one of his children? Separating a fight or pulling a bully off one of his kids and the other kid's parent took it badly and over exaggerated what happened. That's about the only reason I can think of that might justify it, especially as the Crown chose not to proceed.

The only way to fix this would be to not make them at all. That'll go for the Hunt for Gollum and whatever hellish thing Colbert is going to make.
This wasn't a very inciteful video at all. 'Make it 2 movies and cut out all the bullshit'. Well yeah, that would've helped some but that's the most obvious take possible. Also besides Bloom and Gandalf and I suppose Thorin the cast was garbage. His original video on it was a lot better because he digs into Freeman really hard.

I saw RLM released their video on the Mandalorian movie, I look forward to Drinker and his cronies sperging out and calling them disney shills because Rich said it was okay, while Mike and Jay both said it was bad but because they didn't call it an abomination and the worst thing they ever saw Drinker will act like they loved it.
Their ankle biting of RLM does amuse me, it's so transparent.

He also glosses over the fact that the reason Anita's kickstarter did so well was because angry feminists wanted her to rage against those tropes, and her series bombed because she wanted to make something shown in classrooms.
