@Coldgrip yea we are more of a dark coloured nation, our local largers tend to be crap but I havent tried the one @LazarusOwenhart said I am going to grab a bottle from this place, they also source most beers you can think of world wide, what we don't do well in England is Spirits we take a basic vodka an dump a load of crap in it an call in Gin.
You my friend need to Try Adnams Gin and Vodka. They're, well they're mind blowing. The Vodka tastes like it comes from fucking Asgard and the gin has this wonderful light sharp flavour that offsets the bitterness perfectly.

I'll give them a go.

Also you should all drink Viru. Try it, you'll thank me for telling you all about it.

I have seen that and I have always wanted to try it, the problem is when I do see it I don't see it for very long.
Yea it goes pretty quick, fans tend to stock up. We have a wholesaler here in Norfolk called "Beers Of Europe" that holds it permanently. http://www.beersofeurope.co.uk/ You can order online from them and they have some pretty obscure stuff.

Tried Aspalls Harry Sparrow?

One cider friends of mine like is Sommersby, but its way too sweet, it was the rage, when we just drank it but the workers at the liquor store would put it in a weird location, as they also developed a taste for it. Though I tend to like a good coffee stout instead, though my local brewery made a really good wine barrel stout.

Has anybody ever tried Reeb?

Usually wheat beers. Hefes and Belgian wits are my favorite. I also like malty beers like marzens or tripels. I'm not a huge fan of really hoppy, intense flavors. Like mellow, subtle ones.

anyone on untappd?

No, cause I've never heard of it but that seems neat. I've been looking for a way to track what beers I've tried.

Última edición:
Had a discussion about beer with one of the cleaners at work yesterday. He says that, based on the amount it sells Stella Artois is the pinnacle of brewing in Europe because if it was shit, it wouldn't sell well. I tried every angle, it's cheap and readily available, top shelf spirits sell less than cheap and nasty but they're obviously better etc. He just refused to accept that his canned yellow pisswater wasn't the best fuckin' beer (and boy oh boy is he convinced it's a beer but that's a whole different barrel of dumb) ever created. The stupid! It BURNS!

I don't drink any kind of alcohol too often, but when I go to bars, I'll get a beer. I have really nice friends who'll sometimes buy me one, and I'll just take whatever they wanna give me, but if I buy it myself, I'll usually get an IPA because that's what the best beer I've tasted was. (Racer 5 from Bear Republic in Sonoma County, CA). I'd like to try more, but I'm just not really in the habit of drinking often for some reason.

Confession time: I have a soft spot for Kirin Ichiban. I don't know why considering I don't really care for lagers, but for some strange reason I've taken a liking to it.

The nearby grocery store had Kirin Ichiban bottle six packs buy one get one free one time.
Fortunately for me they had an atm, too.

Apparently the real stuff is really good the stuff we get here is awful, it's made in the same Mancunian factory as Fosters I belive.
