The Amazing Digital Circus - Western Isekai that probably will become Hazbin Hotel killer

The future president of some country will say that the Digital Circus movie was their childhood

It reminds me of various screenshots I've seen on Facebook and IMDB where parents express concerns about encountering Bronies when taking their daughters to see the "My Little Pony: Equestria Girls" movie, citing issues related to personal hygiene and inappropriate remarks about the characters. Those screenshots are hard to find now thanks to Jeets working at google and AI.

At least My Little Pony is an IP for kids. Digital Circus, on the other hand, isn't. This reminds me more of the parents who took their kids to see Sausage Party and walked out halfway through the movie as soon as they saw its true nature.

Honestly, a lot of the show's problems can be owed to Cooper designing his characters around quirky mental illness gimmicks rather than thinking "Does this character actually mean anything? Does this character have any real relevance to the story's central theme/premise
Her relevance is being jaxs bullying victim. Maybe she couldve been a better character if she wasnt stuck in the amazing digital jax ackstracting show

This is why I call bullshit when people try to excuse this show as “for adults.”

The fact is GLITCH didn’t take the appropriate measures to warn parents TADC had inapropiate content for kids. We have Goosework on record BRAG he knew children were watching this and saying he wouldn’t tone it down for them.

Why is nobody complaining? Not even the anti-woke crowd said anything. GLITCH is happy selling toys to kids and also showing them references to sex. All on the same show.

This is a very inmature show, but that doesn’t meant kids should be watching it.

The target demographic is teenagers, and no teenager wants to hear that their show was made for kids so they say it's for adults. In terms of what 14-17 year olds use to watch on MTV or Comedy Central, I say the show is generally appropriate. It's like a smidge more adult than Invader Zim, and that's mostly because it's taking itself more seriously and can have characters swear.

If you think about it, Glitch has always been aimed at teenagers. Here's something Viclis/No Context SMG4 uploaded in 2022:

Also, I stole this from Twitter.

I don’t recall anyone on Invader Zim asking to have genitals to have sex, or even having a sex scene even it was behind closed doors.

Johnen Vazquez does have a similar safe edgy style like Goosework, but the difference is that sensors kept him in a leash, and all he got away was the subtle things he did to get pass them. GLITCH didn’t do the same.

Depends on what you mean by “teenager” I suppose. 17-18? Maybe. 13-14? Hell no.

I mean sure Kids do like to watch shows older than what they are meant to. But it’s the job of adults to shoo them away when they want to watch something they really aren’t supposed to.
