I know the pic isn't canon, but If the abstractions (kauf and ribbit) still want to mingle with Jax it would be retarded as shit.

Do trannys expect the world to forgive how much of a nigger, hindrany and abusive pieces of shit they were before they transitioned? (Not like they changed at all after Choping their hogs tho). It is reminiscent of born again Christians wanting to be forgiven after going to church thrice.
Kauf might be up in the air but Ribbit was basically the same as Pomni, where she was willing to do tricks on it just to stay as Jax's friend. She'd probably go back to him like a battered dog.

I watched TADS episode 9 on YouTube. I've written a comprehensive plot synopsis and character analysis that tells a prospective viewer everything they need to know about the show:

not good

Thank you for reading.

somehow the best scene and the thing that really felt like a proper finale is Caine freaking the fuck out and forcing the Circus members to endure true Caine-sourced torment for perhaps the first time since they entered the circus. Episode 8 felt like a better finale than Episode 9. We see the 'blue AI/Bubble' disposed of early, with less stupid nothing-metaphorical bullshit. The characters explore what makes them act the way they think they should be treated (and them confronting it in ways that're kinda neat too), it's an actual proper conflict that draws from source material (I Have No Mouth) instead of being some hour-long therapy session. If Episode 9 continued from Caine continuing to freak out and terrorize the Circus members for the first time in his programming instead of being magicked away by Kinger (which did fuck and all), that would've been a better finale. The Circus trying to 'contain' or keep the ringleader out and down, attempting to make something of themselves in the Circus instead of that shitty Powerpoint presentation. God Damn I hate Troonworx.

This show was fucking shit and the finale solidified it for me. I've read fics on Wattpad with better tension and story than this. Nothing has any weight. Things pop up and are either forgotten or immediately resolved. Or worse, derailed by troonworx inserting his fetishes into it. And the kids eat this up.

Aussie taxes were used to fund this.

At the least the Wattpad fanfic made by a profoundly autistic foreign teenaged girl who's first language obviously isn't English is at least doing it from a place of passion. Misguided, but passionate all the same. They're going to self-insert no doubt and they've got their agenda, but goddamnit their barely-literate Sonic fanfic somehow has more stakes and tension than the whole of TADC.

It would have made more sense and slightly distanced the character from the creator with a parallel, not identical experience.

Can't have that. Even in "heaven" in the new poster, Jax doesn't have eyelashes so still a guy model.Ver archivo adjunto 9180978
Like most things that come out of the Glitch store, I'm not even sure Gooseworx approved this one. The "real" not-psycho-not-masking Jax has large squares for pupils that are placed in the center of irises, as we see him in the flashback scenes. It also implies something kind of odd to what we all know: There is no digital heaven with an exit gate, just every abstracted in their own version of locked-in syndrome I guess.

so $328,694,703 is LESS than $36,252,518? News to me.
Or are you just dyscalculic?
the "Outgrossing" thing was circuscucks fapping over doing better than a film on the end of its time in theaters with their opening weekend and spreading misinfo from there.
It's a mistake a lot of people have made, that the limited run of Digital Circus did better on those days than the 21 days after release Star Wars did on those same days. Like, no duh, anyone who wanted to see Manalorian and Grogu would have done so already. It was probably more profitable since the new Star Wars movies also start really on the backfoot in that regard.

Amazing Digital Circus got bodied on everyday but Thursday, though. Like 5th place? Okay but nothing spectacular. It didn't even get Friday.

Backrooms fans were doing that math too.
If TADC outperformed SW in total boxoffice that tranny would have every studio in town kicking in his door and begging him to work for them. They will gladly let him troon out every single character in Hollywood if he can pull that kind of return on investment.

Why Pomni in particular? Ragatha (best girl) and Ribbit both were open to being his friend and Ribbit got the closest to him but he pushed her away and completely shunned her even when she wanted to help him until she gave up and abstracted. Is the message that girls need to be like Pomni and just have endless tolerance for his bullshit because she is just one more hug away from finally fixing him?
Mainly because the writer said so. But Pomni was never his friend. Ragatha and Ribbit were, so he pushed even harder. Real people do this though TADC doesn't exactly nail it. Pushing people away is a test to see who's willing to push back. If you have trust issues, and expect people to abandon you then you want to see if who you think are your friends are going to put in the extra effort to make it work. You are in control of the conflict so if they keep coming to you, and show that "no really I am committed to making this work." then you have the ability to ease off and let your guard down. If they don't then you've dodged a bullet. Later when something comes up that's out of your control, and you were expecting them to support you and didn't, then you're shit out of luck.

I think the lesson here is patience, but not infinite tolerance. Jax would've had to come around on his own. There is nothing Ribbit or anyone can do when they're being tested other than to keep trying and leave the door open. You have to treat them like abused dogs (unironically). But you also can't keep throwing yourself at the problem hoping that if you push back hard enough they'll eventually break. It makes them defensive because you're calling them out, and they don't like that. It's a sign that you're potentially a threat, even if you are right. Ribbit should've accepted that Jax wants to distance himself from her and moved on. Say hi, maker herself available, and remind him that he's welcome to talk any time he wants, but shouldn't have argued with him about it. Unfortunately she took it personally, as if she did something to ruin her relationship. Jax also went too far. He wasn't just testing her but was actively trying to hurt her. It's one thing to distance yourself, it's another when you are hostile and humiliating someone publicly.

Where TADC gets it wrong is that somehow Pomni reaches him just from sheer stubbornness. She tried this tactic before, stubbornly refusing to give up on Jax, and trying to insert herself into his life and it didn't work. After he abstracted it somehow does work. Jax is written too abusive where it's extremely difficult to attribute his motive as anything other than malice. I know exactly the plot they were intending to portray, but you can't have your hidden trauma character go out of his way to hurt people.

WTF. I didn't know anything about this show until yesterday. Not being on social media much anymore, literally go in blind, watched it all today. I liked it just fine until I discovered the Fandom and their takes afterwards.

Fuckin Trannys ruin everything. Jax was reviled by everyone until Transcoding, then suddenly being a psychopath was not only ok, but celebrated...?

It was a mistake to return to social media for that. I've not seen that much tranny fan art in quite some time

Write what you know, I wonder if Gooseworx is a psychopath? 🤔

I am a fucking writer! Dammit I'm just stuck making shit depthless slop because some fandom won't get off their fat fucking asses and support me!

I think the real issue is he caused too much damage. Him abusing people (including Pomni) for most of the show isn't too bad given the cartoon logic of the world so Pomni trying to befriend him fits the story and it would be good for not only himself, but for group cohesion as a whole. But with him being the cause of Ribbit's abstraction, should have been treated way more seriously by the other characters especially when his abuse can cause others to abstract. There really needed to be a scene where Ragatha, Kaufmo, and Kinger discuss if they should allow Jax to stay or ask Caine to exile him to the cellar.

What I do not get is that seemingly despite the whole world being inside a computer world, why the Hell there aren't files before people abstract. That seems like a glaring oversight from someone trying to escape brain cancer, or at least trying to keep himself alive post-death. I also feel it'd be so good for the show's cast. People could abstract/die, and we could shuffle casts around as they regenerate or tackle what death even means when death is cheap. Or why people would keep griefing others to the point of death.

I initially thought each of the humans represented ways you'd cope with being trapped in a virtual world:

Ragatha tries to help everyone and stay positive
Gangle is depressed
Zooble checks out
Kinger has gone mad
Jax treats it like a fun game where nothing matters

That may have been the initial idea, but if so it clearly changed with the rest of the story

That one isn't too bad. I kind of view it like a savefile that is constantly overwritten, when a character abstracts their file is permanently corrupted with no backups to draw from. But Caine having backups would be interesting from a horror aspect. Let's say hypothetically we gave a shit about Zooble and Gangle's relationship and they are both well developed characters we are totally invested in. Gangle abstracts so Caine introduces a copy of Gangle to cheer up Zooble. She is basically day one again freaking the fuck out, all her relationships and development is undone, and Zooble has existential crisis over if this is the same Gangle or a new person and abstracts herself at the lost of her girl friend and the introduction of replacement.

When people want immortality, they want a continuous existence. Constantly rebooting and having your life experience set back to the past save sounds like hell and opens the question if the new you is still you or is a new entity which means in your escape from death you just damned your clones to unlimited deaths.

People could abstract/die, and we could shuffle casts around as they regenerate or tackle what death even means when death is cheap. Or why people would keep griefing others to the point of death.
This topic has been done a thousand times by much better writers. Goose is simply not capable of writing anything more complicated than a comedy skit.
