Sigh.

Well I always knew Goose was a piece of shit but I foolishly had hope he had SOME creative integrity to not make the character a TOTAL self-insert.

Either this show needs to wander into the wastelands to die (preferably with Goose joining the 41% around the same time) or Glitch needs to buy the IP outright from Goose and get actual talented writers working on some serious retconning to continue the series as something good, and the first season looked back on as 'early installment wierdness' for the next 5 years telling an actually comprehensive and interesting adventure series drip-feeding the metastory and making stack after stack of cash.

Late and gay, but I finally managed to watch the finale without getting spoiled somehow, and... I found it to be pretty lackluster... but not unexpected all things considered.

TADC's main flaw is that you can only truly enjoy the series as much as you enjoy its creator and I absolute hate it for it. Every single scene in the finale revolves around Goose's personal life in some shape or form, and anything that isn't a shot of two characters crying like manchildren gets easily discarded upon:

-Why does Jax abstracts off-screen? Because his abstraction isn't important, it's a vehicle that the characters uses so he can redeem himself, and Goose can say whatever they want throught their mouth, cuz Jax is a Goose self-insert
-Why almost every single conflict besides the Jax "mind palace thing" gets solved almost instantly? Because a conflict with actual stakes isn't important, it's a vehicle for the characters to be able to develop between scenes, and an easy way to Goose expose her thoughts more freely as an artist.
-What's the history behind CA, the company behind the Circus? The history isn't important, it's a vehicle so the characters can grow and have therapy scenes about them, which also reflects on Goose's struggles that they had when growing up
-How can Caine, an AI made in the 90's, have access to Web 3.0 internet? The plot hole isn't important, it's a vehicle so the characters can finally find meaning in a stagnant life by seeing their real-life counterparts having a good life out there, which would ya know, also reflects on Goose's personal life.

In a way, enjoying TADC is similar to enjoying something like Sonichu, I wouldn't say TADC is "so bad its good" like Sonichu's, but you can only truly appreciate Goose and Chris-chan's "art" with the context of knowing what their personal life is, and to me, while art is indeed a form of self-expression, a true masterpiece should be appreciated by its own merits rather than its creators' biases.

Overall, TADC is just a mediocre series that had a strong and interesting premise, but became something less and less as things went on. A world made for high potential, but a boring story was told instead of a fantastical one.

also the murder drones finale was better lol.

I hereby apologize to vivziepop. She is not the worst pseudo indie animator writer of all time.
Vivzie also doesn't make any attempts to say Alastor is a sweet, innocent, misunderstood queermo who would have been kind and nice if only he understood his queerness, so he just had to be a serial killer cannibal. It's only the retarded fans that make up a headcanon about how he's not a bad guy.

The finale speaks all about his narcissism really.

Care about the mystery?
The lore?
The characters (except Jax)?
The comedy?
The horror?

Fuck you

It's all about Goosework making an allegory for his transition trough his self insert Jax. Most of the screen time was dedicated to him on the finale. He doesn't see anything wrong because he genuinely thinks he is most important thing everyone was waiting for.
He couldn't even make himself entertaining when the bulk of the finale is Pomni slide showing through his dying mind of memories and fantasies with no actual tension and stakes since you know, he's dead, and it's not even like in the first episode where Kaufmo's abstracted form was rampaging and glitching the other members.

Bravo, tranny. Abstract yourself.
Funny you say that.

Jax die for being Trans 5.png

with no actual tension and stakes since you know, he's dead
I imagined some tension, in that maybe Pomni was about to learn to reverse abstraction by piecing Jax's psyche back together, which would let them recover the other monsters as well, so at least their eternity would have a dozen people instead of seven, retroactively justifying all the therapy sessions, but that's because I also write and am constantly generating headcanon to try and rescue an IP from itself.

I finally realized why Alex Rochon is so familiar. He got his start on Youtube doing gaming themed top ten videos. Known as the Autist, I mean Autarch of Flames, his videos would almost always boil down to Kefka is number 1!!! A waterfall of intense, cringey autism hit me when I realized this. Also, there was a time when he used to be thin.

The “Jax is trans” twitter shit is on par with Dumbledore being retroactively labeled as a cocksucker by Rowling, although in this case I think Cooper is just trolling. If he’s actually a troon they wouldn’t have referred to Leeroy as a he at the end. Also when has Jax ever displayed any troon behaviour apart from wanting to an hero? If he was a tranny he would lose his fucking shit anytime someone referred to him as a male but that never happens in the show, in fact he even states he’s an example of peak masculinity which no troon would ever do. It makes a lot more sense in context for Jax to be a regular guy that is embarrassed about his feminine interests and it’s more realistic as well. Any normal man who says they like feminine shit is either going to be called gay or be laughed at by his peers. “Isn’t she lovely” doesn’t fit Jax either, he isn’t lovely in any way, it’s much more fitting for Pomni in the context of the show and the scene itself with how she genuinely cares for the people around her. I guess you can call it cope but if Nooseworx wanted Jax to be trans he should have said it outright in the show, the fact he didn’t makes me think he’s just fucking with people.

There needs to be a mathematical study on how troons are physically incapable of ending any creative project and not having it devolve into their fetishes.
The SCP guy was another one, they just can't hold it together no matter what it's crazy.

The thing is that you're thinking of everything through a logical, storytelling lens.
"Indie" writing, especially troon indie writing, is half-told via their social media feeds because they couldn't be bothered to find a way to insert the information into the series proper.
Everyone is just an "egg" waiting to be cracked.

What's worst of all to me is there is no real conclusion to this. "They're brainscans." Okay, and? There's no conclusion to their story arcs. I don't care that they're brainscans, the important part is that I want to know what they do to fix the predicaments they're in. Instead of fixing anything, they put their dead friends' bodies in an aquarium (???? Why? What does this possibly represent about suicide?) and just go on living like nothing happened, trapped forever, and doomed to eventually kill themselves too, or be killed when whatever digital world they're trapped in no longer has electricity?

It's got the hallmarks of some of the most rushed, bullshit endings in all of fiction, and it will go down in history as genuinely a TERRIBLE ending to a franchise that people had high hopes for. Bravo, tranny. Abstract yourself.
There was an answer just not the one people wanted as it's literally the following straight from the writing, funny how this one image sums up the whole show as written
