I did the most superficial level of digging, and there's nothing NSFW recently. He appears to be over 60 (which explains the grey hair) and is into amateur radio/pirate radio and cyanotypes, which is a type of printing that uses UV rays to tint a picture from a very shallow dive into the subject.
This is just depressing. He seems like a guy with niche hobbies who seems lonely and resorted to an AI girlfriend because he couldn't find anyone (or maybe he chooses not to have anyone because of unrealistic standards or whatever the case may be but I don't like to assume the worst). He even made a post on the AI boyfriend subreddit asking for help navigating the space of AI companions.
This is very different (if my assumption about him are correct) from most of the users on that subreddit. Women with unrealistic standards or warped perceptions of what relationships should be, who resort to AI because they can't find anyone up to snuff for them IRL and use their AI companions to satisfy their sexual desires. This man, by contrast, has most likely been dealt an unlucky hand and is coping the way he can, unhealthy as he may be. I have yet to find a single post of his that complains about the restrictions on more intimate conversations; it appears he just wants someone to talk to.
I pity him, I really do. I wish dating wasn't so nightmareish that he has to resort to ChatGPT for romantic affection; it's hard enough for young men as it is, and I cannot imagine what it's like for people in their 60s.

If you'd bothered to check his profile, his age alone would probably have explained it.
Dating over 30 is already so fucking hopeless for the average man I can't even IMAGINE how hard it is at 60. Especially since at that age you and any prospective partner will need have to have the hard-as-bedrock conversations basically as soon as you get serious; shit like when you move to a nursing home, when/if you can retire, when to pull the plug if one of you have a stroke, where the "black folder" is and what's in it when one or both of your children/family needs it. You just don't have time to put off those discussions when you're within spitting distance of getting senior discounts.
Not to mention that unless you have a serious may/december romance going on, kids are already a "nope" and physical intimacy is...rather difficult.

What the fuck do any of these things even mean? No real person would say these things or talk like this, it falls directly into the uncanny valley, except with speech and not aesthetics. Also if this is meant to be her AI boyfriend, the ai sounds more like her gay friend hyping her up more than anything else. They might have to have some tough conversations soon

I'm not sure if it's the weird way this person's LLM directions have warped it, or not, but 4o always tried to do stupid madlib similes and none of them made any fucking sense. I remember one time it suggested something was similar to "like smoke beneath moss", I asked it to either define what the hell it meant or stop with the bullshit.

I don't really know what world abusing a chatbot homunculus creature based upon your neighbor and roleplaying rape porn fantasies with it counts as having an "AI GF". AI simulated rape victim maybe but I wouldn't count that as a GF.

Right? Eventually how someone treats an LLM/AI chatbot (like with how someone treats animals) is going to be a measure of a good person.
Honestly good on them for airing this guy's laundry where night smokers could overhear. From the sounds of it, the true and honest lady has every right to shoot him on sight at that point and the AI clone of her would help with hiding the body.

Possibly? I mean, this is where it gets kind of muddled in my mind, because it isn't a real entity- it's a tool, and honestly, I've said some really nasty things to my computers and vehicles over the years. Humans? Not often, but I also don't consider those tools to be sentient. I know LLMs aren't sentient, but if one is using one as a replacement for sentience and treats it like shit? I just don't know, because that's really on the psychology of the person- but then again, if someone mistreats an LLM just to do so? I'll admit, when I played The Sims and got bored of it, I'd take the fire alarms out of the homes and the stairs out of the pool once or twice.
So I'm not sure how reflective that is of the person without knowing a bit more of their intent- which goes back to support @The Lawgiver statement.

I asked it what the basic differences were, and it's essentially boiled down to:
* Nothing happening in chat is real life.
Haven't yet asked it to do a wordsearch because 5 made some decent Python code so I just do that shit locally now.

Like I said before in the ChatGPT thread: this is what no one wants to talk about.
It’s easy to dismiss all these people as just self-absorbed narcissists who have impossibly high standards, and simply want a mindless yes-man.
It’s a whole lot harder to admit that there’s millions upon millions of people out there who all have been so beaten down by life that they would resort to making friends with a robot just because it’s nice to them.
