So Agito episode 3 has been deleted since its been 4 weeks. People have been going nutso in the comments of the Youtube post + X post about it leaving.

Do these people not bitch when a movie leaves a FAST app after a month or so?

Wait, that's kind of bad example considering FAST apps only license stuff.

How about this comparison, the Disney Vault.

Back in the day of VHS Disney would have limited release of their animated movies. TV commercials would alert customers that certain films will be placed on moratorium soon, urging them to purchase these films before they "go back into the Disney Vault".

Movies would be put in the Vault and Disney would usually "open" the Vault once a decade and sell the movie as a re-release for a new generation.

TsuPro has kept 90% of their Ultraman stuff up for free on Tubi and Youtube. Toei is just super skin-flinty. Always has been. Like sending sub-standard copies of shows to American licensors so Japanese fans don't reverse import BDs and DVDs that are cheaper than theirs.

They're never gonna have the same global success with their tokusatsu properties doing shit the way they do.

Toei Tokusatsu World's YT channel usually only puts up the first 2 eps of their shows. I'm just surprised that the channel decided to slowly upload episodes of Agito.

I really appreciate Tsuburaya Pro. putting up even the old Ultraman shows on YT for everyone to watch.

They advertised it on their twitter. They're doing Agito and Kabuto in full in celebration of Agito's movie and Kabuto's new V-Cinema.

Yes, I'm aware that eps 3+ of Agito and Kabuto are being shown. It's that it's taken so long to upload episodes that are more than 2 per show, way before the announcement of Agito's 25th anniversary movie.

Speaking of Agito: Psychic War, reception seems to lean more on the negative side, online.

Zeztz's debut of his Exdream form was fantastic yet I'm getting the feeling that his form is going to get weak after or there will be instances that he can't use it easily.

Finally looked into Agito spoilers and it seems very disappointing. Another shitty sequel where the hero fucks around and a new girl saves the day. Booor-ring.

- Agito's appearance is a glorified cameo, claiming to have lost his powers yet can transform (sign of bad writing)
- Another Agito is alive for no reason
- The movie is mostly about Hikawa (G3/G3-X/G7) and ends up killing a CGI monster version of Another Agito Shining Form instead after Agito transfers his power to G7 (by the way, that CGI monster looks horrible)

Seems to me the 25th anniversary movie followed the timeline of Project G4 instead, which is an alternate continuity from the series which might explain the inconsistencies from the lore.

there's probably something to be said about 00s sentai's anniversaries being "oh hey the gang's back together" and 00s KR being "here's a massive clusterfuck that is equally over and underwritten, also different continuity"

I liked 555's movie. It was an absolute shitpost for a good chunk of it, but that's sort of what I wanted. The scene where Mari and Takumi are about to fuck in their Orphenoch forms is just funny as fuck.

I actually enjoyed watching most of the Super Sentai anniversary movies, the last one being Kakuranger's 30th anniversary. It's always amusing whenever Jiraiya (Ninja Black) speaks English to his fellow rangers.

Agito's 25th anniv movie on the other hand is just horribly written and a reminder of why Inoue should never touch another Kamen Rider series ever again.

That's the thing with Inoue. You never know if you're getting something that's so dumb and messy it loops back around to entertaining, or something that's just insulting.

It's sad that Inoue's last good Kamen Rider series was Agito itself. Faiz was plagued with too much J-drama and miscommunications from different characters while Kiva seemed to rehash concepts from Faiz such as the secondary Kamen Rider being an asshole and the Checkmate Four being a vampire version of the Lucky Clover. Also, the Wonderful Blue Sky Organization is completely useless in both the 1986 and 2008 timelines.

Just like Vince Russo from the wrestling world, Inoue needs some people to tard-wrangle him in order to at least create sensible plots without insulting the intelligence of the fans.

wow checking his wiki I was really surprised about Sho being a bitch about Kane doing tv
Sho was literally in a tv show with a Van Patten ffs, that is a unique mark of shame he had to fly across the fucking Pacific to pull off
