Texas vs US government - Battle for the border. Possible constitutional crisis?

The current Italian flag is about 120 years younger than the Alamo flag. It's all very silly, anyway. A red white and green tricolore has been used by various southern european and central or south american states for centuries.

Despite the Civil War (the first one) and subsequent rise of the Federal government imposing its will on the states, Texas has managed to maintain a unique identity that stretches beyond cowboy hats and boots.

I'm not saying this will override attempts to force the Texas National Guard to submit to federal authority, but if there's a state that could resist that authority it's Texas. We still have a mythos separate from the United States that can be tapped to sway masses of young soldiers into the cause of defending Texas's right to defend itself. Texas history is still taught before US history and every child in Texas is told the story of a heroic last stand against the tyranny of Santa Anna. Literally all you have to do is appeal to the Alamo to ignite the hearts of young, pissed off men clamoring for a fight and the Texas State Guard will swell with recruits who wanted nothing to do with the U.S. armed forces because of how retarded they've become.

Quit downplaying the very real advantage Texas has if push does come to shove.
People also forget that San Jacinto is a source of pride, we don't hate Mexicans we just want them to respect our borders, we like tacos and are chill with brown people as long as they speak mostly English. We're also part of the south too and even in some of the cities there is a bleeding sense of nationalism in Texas that can't be explained. People also forget that other southern states are very sympathetic to Texas and many rural counties in places like Colorado and New Mexico. Even in Mexico proper the whole retake Mexico is more powerful in California than in Texas.

The good thing about this is if Texas wants to secede from America, then those people can stop claiming they’re “proud to be an American” and still want the right to vote in US elections. Imagine having blind patriotism for your country while simultaneously claiming you want to break away from that country.

Most of these political faggots in Texas are just LARPing as cowboys anyway.
Breaking up from your country to stick it to tyrants is what America was born from. That’s loyalty to the true spirit of the country, not an empty symbol or lines on a map.

Im a native texan, My family has been flip flopping from mexico to texas for generations, and some of my ancestors fought for texas during the war.
Native texans are more loyal to their state than to the US itself, should push come to shove, majority, if not every single native tejano/texan, would side with texas.

Texas pizza with the pepperoni spelling "1824" as in return of the (Mexican) Constitution and end the dictatorial rule.
Which IS something that needs to be pointed out. Much of the history of the Texas War of Independence is seen today through the commie "oppressive colonizer" lens of history. Ignoring first and foremost that Mexico is as much as (if not worse) a Colonial Power as America. The only "crime" America has in this context is that America won and Mexico lost in the resulting Mexican-American War. A war that was inevitable for a variety of reasons, but first and foremost of them being Mexico was a corrupt kleptocracy run by a military Junta. Mexico had only limited control of its northern frontier, and offered immigrants (mostly Americans) land rights and the political franchise if they settled the territory. Santa Anna when he couped the elected government reneged on the deal and subsequently abolished all political authorities outside his direct control. The Deep Lore here is that Texas was not the only Mexican State to revolt. Oaxaca and Zacatecas also rebelled, though Santa Anna put those rebellions down.

This is one of those situations wherein it "didn't have to be this way". Mexico might very well have kept control of the Southwest but for its political instability and Santa Anna being a retard. At the time, Mexico was the larger country in both GDP, population, and military size. Its important to remember that Mexico as a going concern politically predated the United States if we count the periods spent as colonies, and at the start of the Mexican American War, the Mexican Army outnumbered the US Army in both material and troops. The problem for them was Santa Anna like all corrupt dictators made sure they were run by incompetents (so as not to be a threat to him), and the morale of the rank and file were absolute shit. So when a few thousand US Marines invaded Central Mexico they marched all the way to Mexico City, blowing through every fortification on the way. But that's just the way history is. Hind sight is always 20/20.
