Since January 11th, 2024, Texas Governor Greg Abbott has decided to assert its control over its southern border after the Biden regime failed to secure the southern border. As you would guess, Texas has become a target by Democrats and some Republican politicians for enforcing its own borders and defending its own safety.

As of recent times, it appears that several Hispanic Democrats in Texas such as Joaquin Castro & Greg Cesar has called on Biden to issue “federal control” over the Texas National Guard. So far many other red states have sided with Texas with Florida sending some of its own National Guard units to bolster Texas’ border defense. Now it appears that the situation is becoming more and more tense. What outcome will this yield, especially in the highly polarized 2024 election?
 
I just hope whatever happens, the Federal Government along with every fed who sold out their country for a salary never recovers from it.
 
Haven't there also been regular Army troops openly talking of siding with Texas if things get spicy?

And if things DO get spicy (or if it even comes down to some kind of standoff), that puts the US in a very bad situation, as it signals to the world that Sleepy Joe has no control over the military, especially with SecDef being essentially AWOL. Yes, this is all a "commonly held belief" around the world, but this would be the confirmation some might need to pull some bullshit.
 
I want there to be an actual confrontation that results in the needle of progress getting pushed in favor of a stronger and more secure America. Fuck those illegals. Send them all back and steam roll over anyone who opposes it.
 
If Portland, Oregon is allowed to be a communist utopia, Texas should be able to protect our nation's border when the federal government refuses to fix an obvious problem.
 
I think Biden's handlers are going to cuck. It would be short sighted of them to show force in this situation, they'll just redirect the illegals to one of the open parts of the border.

This happens every single time. Texas politicians scream and make noise and promise "This time we'll take action!!!". Their supporters throw in money and donations instead of feeding and clothing their own families. Millions of illegals and savages pour over the borders and into the country. The Texas politicians become completely silent. They then begin busing and flying the illegals to various states to spread them out evenly instead of arresting illegals and sending them back. Supporters ask "why aren't you closing the border and sending the illegals back?". The Texas politicians say "blame the national government....not us...we can't stop them or build the wall".

And rinse repeat every single election cycle.

Houston politicians on both sides of the aisle imported mass amounts of feral niggers into the city after Hurricane Katrina. It caused widespread crime that still hasn't been dealt with in the long term. But both major political parties deny that there was any rise in crime whatsoever. But don't worry. When Trump gets elected he will build that wall. Make sure to donate to him and any Texas politician that mentions building the wall or locking up illegals instead of spending the money on yourself or your family.
 
Ain’t shit gonna happen. ICE is gonna cut the wire, Texas is going to replace it after they leave. Rinse and repeat, both “sides” claim a “win”.

Yes. Nearly 20,000 troops in the army. With vehicles. And paratroopers.

The air national guard has the heavy hitters though:

A bit older, worse radars than the newer V models, but they still go Mach 2.05 and carry 17,000 lbs of stores. Including up to 5000 pound bunker busters.

As well as reaper drones. Not to mention they have the ever reliable C-130 Hercules as a transport, which if given time, could be converted to a gunship.

Black Hawk Helicopters (or whatever they are) buzz the border regularly for the last couple months, they’ve even seen an Osprey once around the NM/Mexico border around Columbus/Palomas. Hell, the TX national guard has had HMMVs parked outside the border fence just 400-500yds away from university for the last few months as well. Anyone who says “BLACK HELICOPTERS ARE ON THE MOVE IDS FUGGIN HABBEDING” is just sensationalizing. I realize how gay and wet blankety this sounds.

If we're going to assume things get hot then it can be safely assumed these assets will be gone in the opening hours of engagement.
 
If things do get hot, then we need to look at each sides capabilities:

US Federal Government
  • 28 US Marines
  • Black Ford Raptor Trucks
  • Cocks waiting to get sucked
State of Texas
  • Has Ram Ranch
  • Plenty of gay naked cowboys showering
  • Butts waiting to get fucked
It's an election year, fellas. This is all kayfabe.
 
I wish this wasn't all gay performative nonsense and states started forcibly exerting their rights against the feds, because that's probably going to be the only hope of things ever really improving.

At least for the air assets, I have doubts on that. The US only recently started branching out from patriot into other SAM systems more optimized for aircraft than missiles. If the Electronic Countermeasures on the F-16s are still decent and up to US standards, and the pilots know their shit, ground fire should be able to be avoided

As for air power... they would be facing off against F-15's at the very least. Which is like a bear against a wolf. If the 16's have numbers and stay in formation, they should be able to withstand a assault for a while. One on one and they're fucked.

Now Ground assets. They, among others, have the 36th infantry division
Now what is this? Essentially they have M1 Abrams tanks, SPG artillery, helicopters, logistics trucks, and as a bonus, paratroopers. I will assume they know how to get around Texas, it's their home field.

Assuming Biden doesn't call in a destroyer and fire tomahawk from the coast, it's going to be a LONG while before the feds can move NEW ground assets in. Meaning the 36th, as long as the sky is kept clear by the F-16's, has a pretty good shot at halting a attack.

They'll cuck if they have a brain and if they have no major interest or hand up their ass to keep the border open.

I'm not confident of the decision making abilities of an admin that props up a literal dementia patient
 
As much as I desperately want something to happen it's not going to because nothing ever happens. Politicians like their hookers and blow way too much to risk their life of taxpayer funded debauchery over making any kind of actual stand about anything significant. We are living in a forever present.
