The first three movies recently popped up on Tubi and they still hold up. (Yes, the third is wonky and very kid friendly, but at least it isn't filled with gays, blacks, trannies, and Seth Rogen. Plus it has the second cutest April and that catchy Tarzan Boy song.)

Never watched the show, but this design doesn't look too bad. Probably looks better when in motion. I get kind of a Drunken Master vibe from it.

It's almost impressive how much they fucked up TMNT, I admit.
I'll say this, Splinter in this movie is based and redpilled and even acts like me.
Sadly or unsurprisingly, this is the only positive I can say about this dreck of a movie.

I'm just pissed off by the direction of this movie in terms of who's producing it and how it's animated because from what I've seen/heard from the Turtles themselves, I legit love their interactions and how much they act like real teen boys. Even though Donnie sounds like a kid, still, unless they say otherwise, he's probably a late-bloomer (don't think they've mentioned their actual ages here yet, even though everyone assumes they're about 15) and I can accept that explanation.

People will say what they will about the 1987 TMNT series, but at least it had decent character design. Who designed every character used in the first five episodes including of course April O'Neil and several used in the first 65 episodes? Peter Chung.

I was only introduced to TMNT only from the 2003 series when it aired on Fox back in the day. I had no clue that the 1987 series was popular until I saw the live-action movies when they aired on Starz back in the mid-2000s, and I was properly introduced to the original 1987 series by the time AVGN showcased the series.

I might watch this for Splinter. Sometimes, Seth tries to create a horrible character (like Homelander in The Boys) to strawman prejudice, but everyone just loves that character.
I can't believe they made Donny gay though. What the fuck, it's a kid's TV show.
Oh god, Homelander became so insufferable that he actually did kill The Boys. In terms of having Paramount and Nick using their notion to have Don gay is pretty much them going globohomo and wanting to collect BlackRock investments which says a lot, except they will still lose money because they want their existing characters to be le big gay.
