So background fluff that doesn't actually impact the show in anyway. Lapis and Lazuli being 17 and 18's names isn't important and is just a factoid. Same with 16 being designed to look like Gero's son. It's neat, but doesn't matter or improve the show or manga. It's just them cramming in some obscure lore.

In this instance they created a new animated scene for it. I would argue that it improves 16's character even if it's just a minor addition.


However, I will agree most of the changes they made are at best insignificant, (Like the androids having names) and at worst well, Goten and Trunks.

I thought them tying the specific date the androids attacked to the anniversary of Gero's son's death was a neat touch, as well as them working android 13 and Broly into the story.

i watched this the other day since my first experience with abridged stuff was lani doing the original YYH abridged and i will just say i am glad i stopped watching TFS stuff because this felt so soulless

I didn't realize this until you said something, but I really can tell which jokes were made by Kaiser and which were written by Lani. These gay jokes are the fucking WORST. They suck the life out of the entire video and just stop it dead. It worked a little bit for Cell and Goku because it was done under a pretext of fighting. But for this...? Like holy mother of God, I just have no desire to imagine Hiei and Kurama as a couple. It's not funny and there was never any fixation on each other from them so there's no context either.
