🤝 Community Tard Baby General (includes brain dead kids) - Fundies and their genetic Fuckups; Parents of corpses in denial

I forget, what was your evidence Archie isn't brain dead? I ask because I'm pretty sure that if a portion of a person's brain has necrotized and fallen down their spine, then that person's fucking brain dead.
Are you genuinely asking me or you just want to thread ban me again for not kissing ass?

He has suffered a massive brain injury and the official brain stem test would be too risky for his current state.
Frankly, I don't think "brain death" really matters outside of legalese permission to unplug someone so whatever wishes the patient / family hold on end of life care ought to be the focus but that's not how the NHS works.

Y'all keep leaving out some important factors within the judgement: a small portion of brain is necrotized and there was detectable blood flow to the front and back of the brain. Experts claim his necrotized tissue won't degrade past the current state so it's not any getting worse. Does it mean he has a life worth living? No. But that isn't my argument, that's yours.

"If the test did not demonstrate brain stem death, he did not think continued treatment would be in Archie’s best interests" (this has to be a typo right?)
"Independent Consultant carried out reflex and other tests followed by an informal two-minute apnoea test."
"The brain stem death test had not been able to be administered or relied upon."
"The standard was on the balance of probabilities when it came to the best interests test."
"The role of the court when exercising its jurisdiction is to take over the parents' duty to give or withhold consent in the best interests of the child." (mah guverment bad but for real.)

Wesker his brain is leaking into skull. Even if he "survived" he'd be a vegetable forever that would be better off being smothered with a pillow. Which won't happen. He's dead. You're acting almost as delusional as his mom and coming from me that's saying something.

Is there something you need to tell us? Are you part of his army? Are you?

Our government has spent 15 years dismantling social security systems. They said it was going to be called the "big society". What that meant in practice was all the children's centers closed, all the low level support for families was stopped so there's now no support until it gets bad enough for social services to get involved. Less police on the streets less money for schools. They essentially told people their problem was their friends and families problem not the state's. In SEND parent circles it means the more competent parents have to act as advocates for the others. Ironically this hasn't saved any money because its caused so many family situations to escalate needing expensive interventions.

Someone once calculated that a pound spent on early years interventions saved 3 by the time the child was a teen/young adult. I've literally watched several of the families I knew from the children's centre playgroup spiral into chaotic neglect once their support workers were withdrawn. Bongland is trying to be burgerland and it doenst suit us.
Yes!!!! Sorry to sperg but a girl I know has a son,12, who likes to hit people. He's already medicated and going to therapy but still can be a handful. It's very hard to intervene but I'm hoping her boy will turn out okay.

Necrosis is death.
Your brain shouldn't die, and it should not be detected in your spinal column or blood. He is dead, no amount of saline or weight will change that.

Oftentimes autistic kids who self harm do so out of a need for extreme stimulation. That's why you will see a kid calm down after he punches himself in the face. I wouldn't be surprised if giving the kid something that shocks them, that *hurts* but is less harmful than slamming their face into a wall, could be helpful. But I'm no expert.

Of all the vile things nurses deal with on shift Archie seems like an easy patient to handle apart from seeing a child in bad condition.

The court docs did state that brain stem degradation is unlikely to progress so his brain isn't liquefying as many of you comment on. He'll end up starving though if calories can't be absorbed.

His brainstem can't deteriorate further because it is already DEAD and has been squeezed into his spinal canal like toothpaste. His brain has no blood flow. You can't deteriorate further than that.

Here's the thing.... That small part that was necrotised.... Has grown. Massively. Over the course of a few weeks between scans...

"If the test did not demonstrate brain stem death, he did not think continued treatment would be in Archie’s best interests" (this has to be a typo right?) - No, it's not a typo. They're saying that because there is no discernable activity within the brain, that even without brain stem death the chances of recovery are.. 0
"Independent Consultant carried out reflex and other tests followed by an informal two-minute apnoea test." - Informal because the parent hadn't cleared it.
"The brain stem death test had not been able to be administered or relied upon." - Wasn't able to be completed because, as it also states, there was no reaction to any of the other preliminary tests, therefore there is no brain activity, ergo - Archie has no chance of recovery
"The role of the court when exercising its jurisdiction is to take over the parents' duty to give or withhold consent in the best interests of the child." (mah guverment bad but for real.) - No. If the judge feels that the parents are not working in the best interests of their child, and for their child, the court can decide that their ruling supersedes the rights of the parent, as the parent is directly contravening the rights the child has under the Human Rights Act. So the judge, working with medical professionals and social workers, and a guardian ad litem, decide what is best for the child. Usually seen in child abuse cases. If the rights of the child are upheld, the judge/guardian ad litem/medical professionals (if necessary)/social workers (if necessary) will decide the next steps, working in loco parentis.

Oh, and @Driedsoap , just an FYI. Following me around and negatively rating my comments doesn't change, that they are, in most cases, a version of the truth made palatable for an idiot like you

No, you're a special case of being a dumb normie who went out of your way to spaz over my posts. I don't believe the UK gov and NHS should be withdrawing Archie's life support for a variety of reasons which all of you think are dumb.

I could post your tard kids in here but I'm sparing you the embarrassment. You're very welcome.
You need to stop immediately and calm down. You don't use doxxing someone's children as a threat.

You do not have the knowledge to understand how the vent works, brain function, etc. The NHS is filled with compassionate people, and just like in America, their pediatric neurologists and intensivists tend to hang on too long to hope because they're human people with human hearts, as is everyone here.

You don't contribute anything. You mistreat people. You're a pointless contrarian. Go see about volunteering or trying to make the world better. This is a website for laughing at and discussing weird things, not being an awful human being, despite what a handful of retards think.

If you want to treat people with the same kindness and respect you caw for, you can have a different opinion, but people are going to disagree with you. Do you think everyone here shares the same opinion with me? If you can't do that, you should go back to Reddit.

If you read how the reports are worded in the latest ruling, you can tell that the Judge and all the medical staff really care about their work. And they're just as upset as anyone else. So Hollie basically insulting the nurses and staff and accusing them of mistreatment makes me MOTI

When a child passes, it never gets any easier for healthcare workers. To assume it gets any easier is foolish. I have seen very good doctors deny that someone had brain death and had already passed away and insist a third brain stem test be performed. It's not because they're bad at their jobs, but the information is hard to process even for a really smart person.

Predictably it seems to be getting harder and harder for medics to stabilise Archie. His mum did a video message too but it's pretty boring. Thanked all the fans for the gibs and likes and briefly addressed the trolls but didn't go into any detail. She looks very white and unwell. The situation clearly taking its toll now.

At this point, it's like hooking up a steak to an IV and calling it a cow.
Modern medicine is impressive. They're replacing all of Archie's basic functions with drugs and machines. I'm going to be optimistic, maybe they'll learn something from this case that'll help an injured/sick child down the road.

She doesn't realise that the hand casting or prints is what they do in the hospital when your child's death is imminent. They did my daughters hand and footprints in clay before we began the process of turning off life support. They put together a memory box so the parent doesn't leave the hospital carrying nothing instead of their child.

The heartless NHS organ harvesters that they are.

The Army mods don't know how the internet works so their legal team will be sending out a letter to the Dignity for All page for sharing part of the video they posted. If they find out its been poster here too, I'm sure Null will be quaking in his boots. Army page going private from this evening.

Honestly I wouldn’t even be against a law sharing photos of minors without parents permission, but as it stands, I don’t think this will get any traction except to get Hollie’s lawyers some billable hours writing up a form letter.
