Found out about this weird ass Sonic Underground fanfiction, and I got ask:
Was their mother actually found?
In the original show? No, it ends on a cliffhanger. There was going to be a comic in early 2013, Sonic Universe #50 that would've been a one-shot epilogue for the show written by Ian Flynn but they decided to ultimately replace it with some metal sonic story instead and the show was never officially brought up again. In Tamers' continuation he never really goes too into detail beyond yes they found their mother, defeated Robotnik, but Mobius was so fucked from Robotnik's rule that all of Mobius migrated to Earth, since Mobius and Earth had already established planetary travel with their planetary exchange program that saw Mobians going to school on Earth.

nothing posted on xitter and nothing on the channel about a new video today. I think Tamers has returned to a new episode every 2 weeks.

You can say what you want about Sonic Underground, how it looks, how off-model it got, how it was just another shallow marketing stunt since so many cartoons at the time were trying to branch into music. What you can't say is it wasn't unique and interesting, especially considering how consistent modern Sonic is.

how off-model it got
The off-model shit is so blown out of proportion. Every retard online loves to go "that show was so bad look at this clip with knuckles!" ask them to post literally any example that isn't from that one episode and they never will, because none of them have actually watched it, they just repeat the same shit they heard other people say and share the same one clip that's been posted a thousand times. That or they post a picture of a smear frame, something that's literally not supposed to be on model because it's a smear. I genuinely caught way more actual animation errors when watching Sonic X. Modern Sonic truly is dogshit compared to SU.

I normally don’t post about episode previews but I just had to post this. We have horrors beyond our comprehension coming up.

The inevitable Tamers12345 movie premiere being MLP instead of Sonic Underground would be a catastrophic and horrible event.
I hope the closest an official Tamers production making it to a movie theater will always be this.

holy shit, what a slog on the newest tamers. Looks like all of the gay characters are stuck in gay-nigger limbo (for now). So thankfully (for now) we will be spared from the really obnoxious toxic yaoi shit parings. Usually tamers does a good job of showing what's next for the story in his endings, and I dont really know which story beats are next, because I can't be bothered to remember mlp endings off the top of my head.

It was (unsurprisingly) bad. I did laugh a few times but it was an absolute slog indeed. The troon allegories made my eyes roll.

Tamers said this in the chat:

For those that don’t watch the MLP vids, Dogman is like a show within a show where Dogman and the cat are gay lovers and the cat is voiced by Tamers. That part alone would make me want to see this (though I would prefer more SU of course).

To those of you that are still watching this MLP dog shit, I just have to ask: Why?

Nowadays, I watch solely for the mare-episodes; I stopped caring about the stallion episodes a long time ago. Sure, there were a few genuinely funny stallion episodes like The Wedding of Soarin and Braeburn - but those are a once-in-a-blue exceptions. The stallion content is a contrived slog with endlessly angsty plots. The characters never learn anything, they fight the exact same adversaries, and the drama drags on forever. It's hard to enjoy it anymore. I do believe that only autistic shippers watch them to see more scenes of their couples together. In contrast, the mare episodes don't take themselves too seriously. They feel closer to the slice-of-life comedy you would see in SU. They go to the shop, go bowling, stuck in toilets, fart on each other. It is silly, absurd, and offers something genuinely fresh every time. I am not saying all mare episodes are masterpieces, there are some unbearable oneliners, like THE ABYSS or the entire orphanage segment in The Tournament of Power (and in Trixie & Trixiebelle), which ruined otherwise perfect episodes. But overall, the mare episodes are leagues above the tired teenage melodrama that the stallion episodes have devolved into.

As for why ponyfags still watch the show. From day 1 the fandom was famous for making gross/edgy/funny/dunk/racist/reactionary MLP content. I won't give a whole brony history lecture, just look up PONY.MOV, Smile HD, Cupcakes, Friendship is Magic Bitch, Friendship is Witchcraft and so on. That raw, unapologetic energy was what the /mlp/ thrived on. But as the years passed and people jumped off the ship, that kind of content dwindled. Many past creators deleted/disavowed their early work either because they were suddenly ashamed of it, or because they hit big in Hollywood and needed to clean off their portfolio (oddly enough, to some magical coincidence, 80% of these people also changed their gender - what the odds!). Then came all these stupid 14yo TikTok tourists and newfag activists, who retroactively stamped the fandom classic edgy era as "literally nazi content". The fandom was hijacked. The output shifted away from memorable rule-breaking art to a flood of saccharine, softcore slop, where creators used ponies as virtue-signal mouthpieces for their personal politics or social agendas. For a long time, MLP content completely lost its teeth and its backbone.

Then in 2024 Tamers arrived. He started producing videos where ponies were farting on each other, throwing around slurs, eating junk food, abusing each other, and acting like assholes. Yet despite this exterior, they remained oddly endearing. Why? Because underneath the crudeness, they were clearly the exact same ponies we knew from the show. They followed their classic archetypes perfectly, and, as silly as it sounds, the videos obeyed some high-level canon lore only turbo-autistic ponyfags knew about it. Tamers can dodge this bullet all he wants, but from the first episode - Bardonic Is Magic - it was blatantly obvious to any long-standing bronyfart that Tamers knows MLP inside and out. The first video was filled with fandom nods and in-universe jokes only a seasoned ponyfag would know about.

He filled a massive empty niche. Think about all those 35yo guys who were desperate to capture the 2010s era of internet humor. The guys who spent their teen ages watching edgy pony flash anims on Newgrounds, or spent years glimmerposting on /mlp/, and hosting Skype watch-parties for new episodes. For them, Tamers' content suddenly made it feel like it was 2012 all over again. He delivered the exact direction and gross-out humor they had been craving. And the cherry on top - he deeply understands what the old fandom genuinely loves. I could give off more examples, but it is already a blogposting. One may call Stockholm or sucking off Tamers' dick - but in reality, it is just a bunch of older ponyfags finally getting to relive the best times they had on the internet. When people could take anything in internet non-seriously and have a laugh on characters acting like douches, all in form in ponies they used/still love. That's really it. A combination of 2010 nostalgia for edgy jokes, ponies, and void in content.

To those of you that are still watching this MLP dog shit, I just have to ask: Why?
For me it’s because A) it’s still Tamers (granted he’s lost all his original magic), and B) out of genuine curiosity to see how much worse they get and to see if diamonds in the rough pop up.

It was bad but i think it was a step in the right direction, unsure if it's the toned down softcore pornography or because that damned apple bottom had less screentime.
And now he's introduced a new writing pitfall (unless if i hadn't noticed it before), lobotomizing his characters to create tension. I can even see that soarin farting during arinos's breakdown was a moment of self awareness on how ridiculous it got. It was also funny to hear the tts go from a russian accent to an indian one for a second.

The non-melodrama centric episode are almost as funny as the SU ones, and i know not of anyone else with both his style of comedy and the execution of it.
And as for the drama ones, it's curiosity of many things, and the delusions that one day he'll stop making slop for the pigs and start doing something more high brow.

consider that we can always find a way to get the gay fags out of gay hell. Come on now, you should know by now.
