I think there’s a definite devil circle of Elva and it’s involves injecting too much fat melting crap into his face and then trying to reverse the effect with fillers. But I am surprised how rapidly this went from “ok just a little off” to “Halloween mask” in what, a year or less?
What can we learn from this?: when it comes to injectables, the real cost isn’t the compound, it’s having it applied properly by someone who knows what they’re doing. Elva being the object lesson in why you should not DIY these things. These compounds work, and in the case of Aqualyx/Kybella (two diff drugs but mostly same effect) the effects are mostly permanent, but the trick is applying them correctly and conservatively, not getting high and going hog wild by yourself. Second lesson: less is more with aesthetic medical procedures.
