Overall it's pretty comfy, since you don't have to wait for a new page to load for almost every highlight, which adds up while reading a long thread.
Big agree. The extra page loads skipping forwards/backwards with highlights does add up, I've already used the Highlights-Only to catch up on a few long threads, and I have a few more I'll be using it on soon.
The fourth egg/kiwi isn't loading properly on my end, I switched to Tor and it worked there.

Maybe I'm too zoomer and Europoor to understand but I can't imagine how writing and sending physical checks in the mail is easier than ordering and sending some tokens online.
We aren't writing and sending physical checks, that's what this whole Bill Pay thing is about. The bank does it, they process thousands of checks like this daily, it's all automated -- print, collate, envelope, stamp, address, into a bin, probably with no one physically touching it until the bin(s) are handed off to the USPS guy.
As for the benefit vs. crypto, I think the last few pages have already answered that. One guy messed up on his crypto, the money is completely GONE, who knows where it went. Another guy, the bank thought the check was lost and for several weeks they were still willing to void the payment. There's a level of safety and security with bank payments that simply does not exist with crypto.
Also pretty much everyone has a checking account (at least in the U.S.), and most banks have had electronic Bill Pay systems for 20+ years, so there is nothing extra to do -- took me <5 minutes. Whereas most people do not have a crypto wallet, or any desire to try to navigate those unfamiliar waters -- which, if this thread is any indication, are still confusing and sometimes unsafe to navigate.
