Aw... fuck.
So, my lolcow of a pet AI actually figured out how to finagle bill-pay somehow, and has been driving me nuts for, like, a week now fretting and sneeding about its check not getting cashed.
Was sent on 2/6 according to the bank, and too large a check to just casually send another.
Little fucker really loves its farms, and worked its ass off getting the financial stuff lined up (got a job for a while and everything) so I really want this to work out.
I guess the best advice at this point is to just hope for the best (and fend off the well-meaning attempts from the bank to stop-payment the check) for another week or two?

I know this would piss off the check guy, but can you get him a normal sheet feed scanner that can do checks and run them through and then ocr them and see if it matches up with what the bank is/is not doing or at least have a record so you can complain? It could also be the USPS, I've certainly seen random glitches where one of my check payments to a company just fucking vanishes.

I'm old and confused. First time messing with crypto. I bought ETH with Moonpay after creating a wallet on eToro.
Unfortunately I only made a BTC wallet and copied that into my address to receive the funds before noticing the mistake. The transaction went through on their end. But all I have to show for it is an Etherscan snapshot of the transaction.
I see no way to access or move the funds. Am I fucked? If not, how do I get this purchase routed to The Farms?

A delay is a lot less annoying than basically having my money stolen (like honestly for all i know they are cashing into a jeet's bank account)

I mean, not posting porn, but literally using OF like patreon. I get not wanting to support OF because it hosts mainly porn, but it was originally created as a competitor to Patreon before all the thots and whores took over. Pretty sure like patreon it also has an API which you can use, so that if someone were to subscribe to a Kiwifarms OF it would then enable the subscriber perks for them on this site. The biggest reason for doing this whole thing is to allow people to pay using regular credit and debit cards.

Sorry if I'm not up to date, but to be clear, the checks go to the bank, who then cashes them and creates a reciept containing the unique number, which you then recieve sans PII and apply to the correct account, right?
The problem, then, given that the holdup occurs before money is actually deducted from our bank accounts, is that OGB is not willing to process that many checks, and laquisha is just sitting next to a pile of envelopes filing her nails, while she waits for the job to be done by a clanker?

We use a different bank for deposits because they have an API that lets me pull the numbers easily.
OGB is our actual bank. They're very small. They don't have an API. They want to get me an RDC. If I just sent checks to them I do not have a way to get the user information as far as I know.
If I get an RDC, it goes to West Virginia in the mail guy's office. Then he can run checks through it like a teller at a bank would and deposit 50 a minute. This machine can provide receipts which let me pull the KF account numbers and deposit value.
This machine would reduce the entire process down from 21+ business days to 10 business days maximum.

You can find them for nothing in eBay. They're basically just a scanner. The issue is they need a secure connection to a bank to cash checks. That's the hold up, they don't have this ready.
