Don't ducklings require a heat lamp setup, or is that chickens? If you're providing short-term shelter, maybe you should have one of those and a small enclosure. If your local Animal Control/forestry service can't help you, you may just have to take them down to the beach and let nature take its course. Higher chance of survival if you set them down close to other ducks, I'd presume.

admittedly i've just kept them warm, no real acumen involved.. I am looking to local shelters but I doubt they'll accomodate. Alas It seems like I will be their end.
