From what I understand, AI is reaching the point that reverse engineering source code may be possible with how sloppy coding is now

We might not even need leaks if we can just get AI models to spit out usable code
You're not reverse engineering server software from network packets, much less client software. Best you can do is reimplement server-side logic while adhering to the network protocol.

This is what insane tranny commies actually believe.

With technology and autism today I say its possible with AI and human efforts to reverse engineer given time

theres already fully offline ways to play some MMOs without ever buying the game, theres ways with how horrendous code work is these days

Pretty bold of you to expect people to read anything besides the single sentence of the front page feature. Parliament seemed to be pretty extensively in support during the public discussions, so we'll see whether they decide to attach it to any existing legislation. The Californian bill seems to be decent progress, but I have my doubts it'll actually pass all the way through.
As already explained in this thread: parliament can't do shit, they can only vote on what the commission puts in front of them (they can't even modify wording). So when the commission says "we got paid, fuck off with your plebeian cares" that's it.

You people seem to be under the illusion that the EU is some democratic institution, it is not. Look into the german concept of "defensive" democracy if you want more fancy words about anti-democratic European "democracies".

Did somebody tell Ross and his team of gamers

this was very predictable that old farts would not actually do something with games that is already a niche and definitely for the old fucks in the commission. they are supposed to represent the eu but they are nominated by the government from there home country. there is not one law at the moment that does what SKG wants its spread out over different eu regulations that makes it very easy for the commission to do nothing and just gives some existing regulations that can apply and do nothing more.

First time I'm hearing about this.
So the EUcucks managed to get a million-signature citizen initiative about videogames going, but never bothered to organise for something actually meaningful like, I don't know, migration or economy policies? lol.
counter to what some want you to believe the eu does not have total control over migration or economy this is mixed some arias are for the eu and other arias are for the member states. and what i think you are talking about is for the member states not the eu

Did somebody tell Ross and his team of gamers
somebody already gave you the answer
Here's a relevant clip from that video, going over how they're still making progress with the EU Parliament regardless of the commission's decision:

(This clip is a minute and a half long. Can @Null pay attention that long?)

how is it not a democratic institution? who are you even comparing this to? you should really look up the things that you say the Parliament can modify and make amendments to proposals from the commission. its part of there job.

This is retarded. Tables are inherently physical items inside and out. Now, if you were to compare this to those exercise bikes that barely even fucking do their inbuilt functionality if you don't subscribe...
Games were treated almost exactly like physical goods similar to books for decades. You walk into a store, you buy a book, and now you own that book even though the content on the book itself is just ink. The author maintains a monopoly on the contents of the book but that copy is yours. Games functioned exactly the same way. The content of a disk being abstract bytes instead of a pile of ink is not an important distinction morally and we hope legally too.

I know it takes very little effort to shit up a thread but can you make your profile public? I want to check something

"I want deregulation and less potential for government corruption in bed with massive corporations"
"WHAT ARE YOU, A COMMUNIST?!"
Meanwhile the corrupt governments are literal Communists and they literally plan on subjecting everyone to Agenda 21 style labor camp systems. Worldwide, by the way.

Yeah and this was before the new 10s hit, another way to compare might be like a Renaissance painting or a Greek vase. After the new 10s hit however they were more like either live services or legalized gambling scams (because anyone who doesn't get the "morally questionable" stuff into a casino gets hounded by DEI mobs).

And at the era of AI gaming might as well as be the Dodo of the modern era with only a 50-year lifespan because Globalhomo said no. Even Greek Pottery and Renaissance paintings have a much longer lifespan.

Then he should have specified servers for dead always online games.. that's a massive difference, I thought he was suggesting my HALFLIFE server was illegal, like tf you mean.

Articulation, its not just for skeletons.
SKG is basically targeting always online games and general license/DRM type stuff so games like half life clearly don't apply. Most people don't mention community servers by saying "private", they say "community" (at least as far as I've ever heard), and use private to refer to live-service alternatives. Your take just seems pedantic but I can understand the confusion so no harm done outside of your overly-strong outburst looking retarded.

I'm likely being pedantic myself on the community term usage, but the first point is what matters imo.

If I can still being able to play Halo 2 in the original Xbox with Xlink Kai with a fair & decent dedicated playerbase even after the original xbox live was depreciated more than decades ago... then there's not a fucking excuse on any multiplayer game getting a support playable patch provided from the developers.

Still hoping there's anything happening in the background because this just shows how much greed most of the game companies are willing to cry at the government on how the product is no longer due needed for such patches and the customer must deal with buying upcoming entrances and let it be start from 0.

Shit sucks for most MP games but whatever, There's still a lot of good emulation that can still middle finger most of these companies anyways.

yes except not pirating because the games arent even worth pirating, and are filled with faggots and should have been single player anyway in most cases, and also fuck em they can make their online slop into single player slop by running it through the slopifier assembly line of indians another lap or two or people will help the one or two trannies still playing pirate the slop. also they should kill themselves and apologize to me personally with a hand written letter and 20k dollars minimum before they do it.
