Honestly, the fact they want an MLP of their own is kinda... disturbing. Like, speaking first hand from when the brony thing started, it was a complete accident. It's a dopey, cutesy kid's cartoon that happened to be pretty fun. Which, of course, spread across 4chan. Then the spergs attached to it, and we ended up with the My Little Autists- everyone's favorite punchline since Sonic fans.

It's not something you want to happen. It literally turns a fandom into that fandom. Unfortunately, Tumblrtards have no self-awareness, so of course they want an MLP.

None of this would've fuckin happened if Aquabats Super Show was the breakout hit.

Now, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but as I remember it, wasn't the whole MLP "fandom" thing just an extended from of meta-trolling /b/ at the time? /b/ hates everything, so to troll /b/, you pretend to love and accept erryone re:MLP.

Honestly, it's unimportant at this point. All Tumblr sees is a toy they don't have and want, but can't have it in the way they want because they don't like sharing. They operate under the assumption that everyone else is as overprotective of cartoons as them, which is why they prepared for war when that SU site was announced. But no one actually is, so they just look pathetic.

I have been seeing a lot of people on tumblr complaining how they don't want Rose Quartz to be thin and they want to keep their fat role model. Like they are extremely paranoid about it, it's not like the show is just gonna make her skinny. Apparently it started from a comic where rose made herself skinny because of the figures on magizines but it drained her powers or something so she had to turn back fat again, then Stevens dad told her she was perfect the way she was. But I guess that moral flew over their heads and are now crying "she isn't skinny!!!!1 this comic is offensive!!!!1"

If I cared enough and actually could draw, I'd start drawing anorexic porn of all these characters just to see these freaks flip out, then furiously argue with the force of a FemaleGoodra that all the characters are transorexic or some bullshit.

I was thinking about this too. I would draw lots of pictures of Uncle Grandpa and Stevens father in dresses. I guess the fandom would go berserk.

It's odd because Rose seems to be an hourglass shape and, because she's canonically 8 feet tall, proportionately thick, but she's not actually the hambeast the fandom likes to portray her as.

10 bucks says that's because half the fandom fetishizes her as a "deathfat beauty" portrayal.
actually, if you see them complaining about the idea about her being thin. They always have to bring up that they are overweight and they finally have a character to cosplay and are represented as elegant and how much they don't want that taken away from them.

But nobody's taking it away from them? Drawing fanart of her skinny, while inaccurate, does not really affect them at all.

I don't understand these people.

Yanno how Chris is obsessed with the blue arms, despite the fact that they're absolutely not canon and affect nothing?

This is the same thing. Only from people who, in theory, have no reason to be as insane.

It's like Jin freaking out about people drawing porn of his waifu, but more malevolent. They basically think they "own" someone else's creation and can dictate how other people experience it.

Since tumblr is obsessed with fat characters I drew a realistic Rose Quartz.
This is what the fat tumblr SU fandom needs! A realistic portrayal of fat people. Not a beautified version with thin faces, small hips and smooth skin! The average rabid tumblr SU fan snowflake must be represented!

That would trigger them so bad. It would cause some sort of steven-cide on tumblr and they would be dropping like flies. Then who else am I gonna laugh at?
