I should probably clarify that it's not that I think Destiny isn't dangerous to minors and children. I 100 percent do. I just don't think they're the only people that he's harmful and dangerous to. My point is that even without trying to harm someone he inevitably harms everyone around him.
Conor would do himself a favor by pointing out that you can't just call CPS and get their kids taken away from them. It starts with an interview process and if the social worker doesn't think there's a reason to intervene, they won't. CPS gets called by bickering relatives all the time. They also won't just take your kids because your house is a little messy, they'll take them if there's actually a health hazard. They won't take your kids because you have a fucked up kink, they'll take them if the kids or anyone around the kids says anything that leads them to believe that the kids are actually at risk/victims.

Right, and this is what frustrates me so much when I listen to people confront Destiny. Because they don't really do much to ask him how he's changed, which he can't answer. Because he hasn't.
If you're going to confront him on his past sins, you have to ask him what the difference between his thinking and behavior then and now is. The guy cannot stand being psychoanalyzed for a reason, and he reveals a lot about himself when he's not in a hostile situation.

Yes! I think it's bad to be a fan of Destiny period. You don't even have to take it as far as turning people into pedophiles. You could just point to his normalization of polyamory, which leads to disastrous outcomes for people who engage in it. I think that if you listen to Destiny enough you could justify and downplay things like infidelity because he makes it sound like it's not that big of a deal despite the psychological harm it does to the person being cheated on. I think he normalizes the dehumanization of people with mental health disorders. He FREQUENTLY goes to his audience to justify his shitty behavior, and every time he does that, they have to learn how to defend those shitty behaviors and therefore learn how to defend it for themselves, too.
So it's very easy for someone to take something "harmless" like lolicon just being drawings, and he gives them the tools they need to excuse this weird behavior. And he's clearly done this with some of the things he said about teenagers and their ability to consent.
What he always said about polyamory is that he doesn't recommend it for other people because most people can't handle it.
