I don't know if Pixie's suit is likely to succeed or not, I don't pretend to be a lawyer, even online. But I disagree that this situation would be difficult for normies on a jury to understand. Tiny took a consensual video recording of Pixie preforming a sexual act and then nonconsensually shared it through an Instant Messaging platform. It all came out because someone else logged into the IM account, copied the video, and disseminated it. These technologies have been around for decades and even boomers understand the pieces, even if they don't know what Discord is.

Tiny could countersue for attempted extortion, but unless there is something else I think a good lawyer could spin those massages as Pixie being frantic and thinking out-loud as opposed to an actual attempt.

But it doesn't matter what happens in court, though I hope Pixie wins and maybe Stasia can tag on too and make it a class action. Now, I am interested to see if anything really comes from this.

That's a fair assessment. I was to quick to think about the details that matter to someone thinking about this in terms of "internet drama" instead of it being broken down into simple parts.

If there is anything that needs precise explanations it's going to be "hacking" versus "unauthorized access" which get used synonymously.

I just have a general misgiving about how sexual assault suits go and Florida isn't very friendly to this sort of pursuit though I don't know the specifics. If nothing else, Destiny's messages will get read aloud in court and it might be more humiliation than his kinks tolerate.

Destiny would be stupid to litigate this rather than bring this to mediation. We'll see what his statement says but I would believe that he would fight this just to show he could using some loophole.
