😵💫 SkitzocowStephen William Lafleur / henstepl / Thisismyrofl / Elecbullet - Schizophrenic Arsonist Who Hates Soda
And I'm always anxious to hear if there are more schizophrenics around to affirm that the facial-exercise-grimace test works for them (and if typical meds for schizophrenia change the results).
This guy sounds really smart. Zinc is also very good for your immune system, but you're gonna wanna make sure you get enough fibre while you're supplementing to not suffer any heavy metal toxicity.
Also merry Christmas Eve @henstepl I wish you and your family well.
This is the first KF thread iv actually gotten really good information from and a laugh. I wish @henstepl the best with his theories, they aren't as crazy as they sounded. I hope he doesn't get put away, kf is more interesting with him around. Anyway merry xmas.
I'm trying for a Type B day, so I'll try to explain it in a way that Type A would approve.
I want to know how typical it is for schizophrenics to be more susceptible to antipsychotic-induced akathisia (which is hellish) in the morning. Because I can't take Haldol in the morning, only at night (and at that point I frankly don't mind it).
When I wrote Thesis 2, which is that mild glutamate hypofunction means you can't stand adrenaline and choline at the same time, I'm referring to that morning. In the morning I feel I have a stunted intelligence due to a wrongness of body. I call this G-+ because I've medicated the worst of my glutamate deficiency out of G-- but not all the way to G+. I can improve my situation with choline or adrenaline antagonists (and note that anticholinergics are prescribed for akathisia).
But there's a very jarring transitional void (which might be informative under FMRI) in which I go from adrenaline+choline to neither. This is Type GO+, and it is autistic. After some time, I pass through another void to either adrenaline or choline, and I no longer need choline/adrenaline antagonists. This is G*+, and it is my indicator that I am able to take antipsychotics without akathisia.
It makes me want to say that the adrenaline-choline wrongness is hard conference, the wrongness of body, and the serotonin-dopamine wrongness is soft conference, the wrongness of mind resolvable by choosing either serotonin or dopamine.
he uses words in chemistry, medicine, psychiatry without knowing what they mean or what's he's talking about and he has this outlet here but that's schizophrenia, I suppose it's a disease.
I understand he is sick and that's why he is saying crazy things but I hope he gets treated and the people who are feeding his psychosis are not helping him, they are imho more like people shouting "jump" at someone standing on the ledge of a window.
Sure freedom of speech, article 230 etc. but at some point there are things people shouldn't be allowed to incite others to not because of the law, but because of common sense.
Like maybe adults shouldn't exercise their freedom of speech by telling a child "yes you can walk in the lion's cage" also maybe sane people shouldn't exercise their freedom of speech by making a crazy person crazier. Probably very idealistic on my part though.
The more he talks about this syndrome's personality types and how he somehow shifts through all of them, the more I'm convinced he doesn't actually know how to treat his illness.

This thread is depressing, it’s like watching someone who knows something is wrong with them, but lacking the full faculties and ability to fix the issue.
But despite that, they’re trying their best.
Wish you the best, I’d advise that you drop this carbonation grimace theory and focus on tried and true methods, but we both know you won’t do that. Noncompliance is perhaps the biggest problem in mental health recovery/relapse to date.

I've divided it into two systems: G+/G-/G--/GO/G*, and then A/a/B/b/O. The G system has terrific momentum to it, and it's the rollercoaster of technicalities of that system that makes my day difficult. At the very least it's informative, as to why I can't stand antipsychotics in the morning (akathisia).
The A/B system and all that is less intractable, though I have to essentially choose adrenaline or choline for the entire day at the start. I have that under control, except the burst of serotonin every night, for which I'd only need a Tianeptine prescription. That's one of the tasks of my life - how do I get one?
I still can't make much sense of @henstepl's theory, but what's most interesting to me is how normal it is in the context of other ideas I think are wrong. And in the context of other "bad ideas" I might engage with, it's quite good.
I think my initial impression was colored by the context in which I first came across the theory. That was by following a link on the front page which read:
Schizophrenic joins to post medical theory where distaste for carbonation can be used to detect schizophrenia. Announces his plan to commit arson, then commits arson. He now claims to be out on bail and active in his thread.
By the time I started reading the attached pdf, I had my metaphorical bucket of popcorn in hand. I hoped for entertainment, but expected something as boring as the Dimensional Merge.
At many points, it stands on its own as a good read. Verse is interspersed with prose; the line between poetic and prosaic is blurred in a way that's both captivating and real (at the least, real from the perspective of @henstepl).
At the risk of appearing to endorse unethical means of achieving gravitas: the arson, at once tragic and absurd, undeniably adds gravitas to the theory's presentation. This is no March for Our Lives.
Contrast this presentation with presentations of other bad ideas that are no more hinged to reality:
Religious dogma / Chopra-style spirituality / paranormal beliefs
woke shit / white fragility / other variations on group victimhood/original sin
Dimensional Merge
These ideas are most often presented in ways that are ugly, condescending, and boring. Those are faults far worse than falsehood.
I stand and clap and say bravo, Stephen. Even if it's false, it's good.
Ahhh... (B/b) tonight. Choline/serotonin, and if you do it right, you get to traverse down the front of the face, rather than the back. The relief from the throes of depression leaves me no longer dependent on Type A, except that it probably retains erectile function and freedom from dissociation.
I hope you'll all forgive me if I've had my share of cognitive dumps in these trying times. My full intelligence has returned, and if you'll all stay tuned, you'll get to witness the saving of the Florian syndrome children.
You went wrong when psychiatry went wrong, and psychiatry went wrong when it made "antagonist" the answer to the question "how do I reduce serotonin". As an inventor of words I can tell you these things matter: there ought to be a list of serotonin antiprotagonists along with serotonin protagonists like SSRIs.
The serotonin antiprotagonists are the plain reducers, and in decreasing order of usefulness, they are: tianeptine, berberine, probably evodiamine, probably pimavanserin and your antipsychotics, and finally, buspirone. Your navigation of the brain is stunted if you don't dissociate them from the mere antagonists.
And I wish I could fold your mind for exactly five seconds, such as I experience every day I don't glutamate up. Thus would I prove to you what I know is relieved by tianeptine.

And bravo to you, friend, for staying in touch. You've had some of the most intelligent inputs in the thread. I hope this won't be the last of our rapport - at least you'll keep the avatar - but I certainly wish you'd stick around.
The interplay of my sudden depressive relief with the carbonation grimace remains to be seen, but if it's invocable tomorrow, I will administer myself the Schizophrenia Test on film to prove facial exercises work to detect the disease.
So just out of fun and random skimming of a page or two, you're thinking carbon or their drink types, are the cause of your restlessness, rather than your average brain chemistry and general state of mind at the time? Tried taking a benzo to calm, or better yet, put that activity in your body to some use, body building and such?
