How old are the main characters? They seem to look and act like teens
So it takes place in 2380, and while it doesn’t give the exact date, i found on a wiki that purple hair was born in the 2350’s, so they’re actually in their early to mid 20’s, possibly late 20’s.

A Little late but have some adversarial janeway https://youtube.com/watch?v=TWfSvBGtYYI

I will maintain this to the end: Captain Janeway is a hairsbreadth away from being one of the greatest villains in Star Trek.

Picard could have been fantastic if they introduced Janeway as an admiral and the political adversary that Picard faces.

Oh, and also changed the show to have 90% less SJW politics and eye-gouging. But we know that part.

You have to understand that there's an exchange rate at play here. A mid-twenties in our current era is equivalent to a sixteen year old from the Fifties or a twelve year old from Victorian England. It's a kind of maturity deflation. Hell, even well to do Victorian children looked like they'd seen shit that wouldn't believe.

That kid on the right looks like he's about to ask "so how many dead bodies you seen? I seen eight."

By the time we reach Star Fleet era a twenty-five year old has probably been exposed to as much 'real life' as a middle class child today.

Serious note, though - don't read any of the above as saying that's how people should act in canon Star Trek because plainly they don't and Starfleet weeds out any but the best. I'm just talking about the shitshow that is Lower Decks.

Última edición:
In regards to the ending of episode 3.

Chief Miles O'Brien saved the day dozens of times with nothing but his wits, body, and will. He deserves all the praise that comes his way.

Is this the same POS that was originally pitched to Nickelodeon as a show about teenagers stealing a defunct starship and taking it on a joyride? Or do we have that to look forward to as well?

Star Trek: Prodigy is due to shit itself onto television screens later this year. Which means we'll have SIX GODDAMN NUTREK SHOWS AT ONCE.

Who has the time or the desire to watch that much TV?

I didn't even know about Prodigy until right now. I thought you were talking about that old Nick show called Space Cases, which was essentially Star Trek but dumbed down for kids.

Star Trek: Lower Decks Episode 4

>OH GOD, THE UNIVERSE RESTS ON THE BACK OF A GIANT KOALA
>WHY IS HE SMILING?! WHAT DOES HE KNOW!?

This made the episode for me. The ascension stuff started slow but that ending was gold.
