It's impressive that the male characters are so ugly.
I could imagine the usual smug chuckling if it was just Kat but there's a very deafening silence surrounding the whole thing outside of the usual cope.
It's a Nintendo game, everyone knows that it isn't worth trying to criticize it publicly and kick the hornet's nest. Best to just let it languish with poor sales figures and then let the fact that it's quickly forgotten speak for itself.

I feel like Command is the Touhou of the Star Fox series, where more people tend to talk about it rather than actually play it. I think it's a fine game for what it is.
Command was very boring. It was basically the All-range levels of Star Fox 64 (and Star Fox: Assault) but the entire game.

Having said that, I'd take another Command over another fucking Star Fox 64 remake any day

It's the furry equivalent of the triple A ugly characters, especially the women, like Katt. Fortunately there is no way to justify the presence of Debra Wilson since there are no more women in SF 64, kek. Maybe Andross is a woman now?
If Illumination makes the inevitable movie, I bet that Andross will mention how he plans to make Corneria great again.

Really suprised this thread has alot of responses. Star Fox really is an hangry IP.
It has a lot of wasted potential, and the first game was revolutionary. The franchise committed multiple legendary fuck-ups, like Krystal, a black hole that tore apart the franchise, and Command, the game that no one wants to recognize. Plus the hilariously high number of reboots of the same damn game, over, over, and over.
Granted, if the 2026 reboot is successful, the following games will be sanded down to hell and back.
I suppose that the fact that Sonic exists spared SFox from getting the worse fans it could have had.

Sonic has a huge entourage of characters to fixate on and an expansive library of wildly different interpretations of the franchise.
It was never in a million years going to match that nuclear exclusion zone.
Yes, that's what I meant. The SNES barely could put out the graphics of that game, seeing its atrocious FPS.
No kidding, it's like wading through molasses.
I think they made it less shitty for Star Fox 2 but I'm never going to shut up about how much that game makes my penis hard.

Is it really neglected? I'm pretty sure since the snes there's been a star fox game on all the major consoles they've released besides the switch 1. Though for fans I suppose it is a long wait since the Wii u. Do you guys consider the fact there's not enough new stuff in the series as it being neglected?

No entry on the Wii which is a shame because having a pointer is perfect for a rail shooter

Star Fox Zero a whole 10 years ago. There's an average of about 5 years between each game, and that overall rate only looks better if we count 64 3D, because otherwise there was also a 10 year gap between Command and Zero. Star Fox only ever got games at a fairly fast rate in the late 90s to mid 2000s when we got 64, Adventures, Assault, and Command in short order, but after that it's been one game a decade.

Plus, Star Fox gets the extra feeling of being neglected because it has no consistent developers. The SNES games were made by Nintendo and Argonaut, 64 was made by Nintendo, Adventures was done by Rare, Assault was by Namco, Command and 64 3D were by Q-Games, Zero was by Nintendo and Platinum, and now this new remake is by Velan Studios. They've been playing hot potato with the series since the GameCube days because it's not considered worth putting their full internal resources into.

I'd be more worried about how they will characterize Myu, Fay and Kat. Since Illumination made pretty clear Peach is now "one of the boys" in the Mario movies, it's safe to assume they will do the same with Starfox.

I’d laugh if they decide to go for the Wolf-Fox gay ship. Or the Falco-Fox gay ship.

*checks* You need to enter their Pedo-Discord to get the already prepared version, goddamit.

Star Fox also has many characters, not as many of course as it's not a multimedia franchise, but at least it doesn't have Chris-Chan types.
Or that many. Plus Sanic was first.

The fact that the same game has been remade so many times doesn't help. Extra points if the movie/show covers that game, as it will feel as if the same plot was covered 5 times already.

Well yeah. No Western movies can have feminine girls anymore, they must all be girlbosses, tomboys or Mary Sues. Fortunately, I doubt Illumination will bother much. They'll take the least resistance path, check the 64 game, notice it has no girls, then cram Krystal somewhere and make her a bitch towards Fox, who will probably act like a stammering cuck in her presence.

I’d laugh if they decide to go for the Wolf-Fox gay ship. Or the Falco-Fox gay ship.
The Mario movies practically had no romance of any type, so this probably won't be an issue. What I wonder is how much better will movie!Falcon look like compared to fuck-ugly SF'26!Falco, who looks really gay.
