You know what's terrible about all of this? It's not the fact that he died. 95 years is a long life, and he accomplished more than most people ever would.

The shitty part is Stan spent the last few years of his life being manipulated, harassed and abused from people within his circle. It's bad enough he lost his wife of 70 years, but he clearly had no one to depend on after her death. The vultures immediately started coming for him.

His daughter seems like a callous manipulator who wanted his money, and nothing else. It's like she's holding him hostage and putting words into his mouth, because he's old and confused.

What a horrible way to go out. No one deserves that. I hope his death was at least peaceful.

F. He will be remembered greatly for all the works he made and even for some cameos he had.

People like this can have their soapboxes shoved up their ass. All they really do isn't speaking some sort of "truth", it's just grave pissing and fishing for likes and attention.

Truly Stan Lee was some evil racist. The Twitter people surely aren't lying for any attention and likes.

Because they think that either Stan won't defend himself while he's dead or they just want attention.

It is until they realize they also painted a target that allows Stan's fans and the like to come in and tell these spergs to shut up.

Edit: There's at least one twitter that tries to bring up something to say how Stan is terrible.

Then again, one wonders what abuse he means since he only shares an article that says Stan Lee died.
The abuse they are probably referring to is the abuse Lee had been dealt by his handlers after his wife died. I think they are saying they are not sad that he's dead since his life was rough (especially this past year).

i shoulda gotten that 200 dollar autograph at comic con while i could, now i regret it.

also im upset

Thank you Mr. Lee for everything you gave us comic book nerds. The Twitter trolls cannot tarnish your legacy. You were a marvel, sir. Rest In Peace.

Despite my dad and brothers being comic book fans, I've never been into them, I've barely even watched anything of the Marvel Cinematic Universe since the X-Men trilogy--but Spider-Man has always been a favorite superhero of mine. I'm not blind to pop nerd culture, so I fully recognize and respect the impact and legacy he made, especially for the comic book industry, and he always looked really excited to make cameos in the films about his work. He was quite energetic for someone who was being struck with ailments in his twilight years, even if he was just putting on an act in front of his fans. And from what I've heard he had quite an interesting life. I think we still have that comic biopic I saw my brother reading once, and I liked what I saw. I've actually meant to read through it and properly see the man for myself, so I'll go track that down while I'm thinking about it.

Thank you so much, Mr. Lee. I hope even when chilling in Asgard that you'll continue to make comics up for the angels in heaven. It just doesn't feel right thinking they won't exist up there.

Stan Lee was a goddamn giant of a man, but always willing to tell shit like it was.

He was a damn good guy and knew how to tell a good story, a skill lost by the current crop of self-appointed god's gifts to the industry.

He will be missed.

Damn, man. The guy always seemed too larger-than-life to die.

Face front, True Believers!
