I was expecting this news sooner rather than later, given how things were going for the man, but it's too bad.

I knew this would happen eventually, but my heart still hurts. He's done so much for the comic and entertainment industry as a whole. Shine on, man.

RIP Stan Lee, it's an absolute travesty your twilight years mostly consisted of people conning you out of your money and familial relationships when you weren't being shoved in front of a camera for Disney's latest tentpole.
 
Thanks, Stan, for like 2/3 of my childhood. I'll miss your Hitchcock style movie cameos most of all.
