I know everyone is shitting on this man but I unironically agree, memes and jokes aside. Even in explicitly religious states it's rare for the constitution to be considered a sort of extension to scripture rather than interpretation/reiteration of it for a specific context. Even before getting into how legitimate the US constitution would be when compared against the new testament, it's still really strange to have to do so at all.I was poking fun at you for this unique American belief, as it is strange and unique to the USA and with all of the various forms of Christianity out in the entire world, you are somewhat of an off shoot.
If anything, it's more damaging for 2A to say ITS MUH GOD GIVVEN RITE because the US is, at least at this point, a secular state. If you have a right, that right has to be defended at the very least in practical terms even before you get into the morality or utility of it at all. Simply saying "God said I can do this." is not even an argument when your opponent doesn't believe in the same god, or even if they do but in a different way.
