I actually like a lot of these. They're kind of cute, and a really militarized Bowser is cool. Rosalina, Pauline, Cranky, and Funky, though... why?

This must be the 4 our 5 Daisy redesign i see on this thread that puts her in shorts (and makes her skin darker).

Why is the short haired princess not allowed to be feminine and wear a dress too? Is it because she's a ###tomboy, meaning she MUST dress like a sterotypical and tanned athletic girl? I dont know, doesnt seem very progressive to me

WTF this is such a bad humanization of Sawyer from Cats Don’t Dance. Do people not believe in bright skinned black people??? What did this character physically indicate that she had different colored fur patches on her skin????

Actual Character, her name is Sawyer. She’s a white cat. And I know that the movie was supposed to refeeence how black people weren’t allowed to be stars or main actors in Broadway/Hollywood but just make Sawyer bright skinned....it doesn’t need to be super obvious that she’s black.

This is especially irritating for me because I'm a big fan of Cats Don't Dance and both the speaking and singing VAs for Sawyer are light/lighter-skinned black women. This is so blatantly DiVeRsE and pandering that it's completely unnecessary. Just fucking acknowledge light skinned black people, it's not that hard.

It's literally because of this. Daisy is described canonically as being a very tomboish princess but i don't get why people have the constant need to put her in athletic/men's clothes. But i guess they really want to drive the point home with the subtlety of a ramming truck.

Olivia is withing acceptable limits, but good fucking god, Widowmaker gave me the fucking creeps. Did whoever that drew her made her a fuckign Nosferatu? Because she sure looks like an abomination of the night. I also have an axe to grind with chonky Bea, but i think we all know the usual drive of SJWs to draw athletic characters a certain degree of obese.
