The last of the first set of images are actually pretty cute. The characters are drawn decently (they're ponies so whatever the human forms get a pass from me) and colors are muted in a dog shit overlay.
The rest however...:horrifying::horrifying::horrifying:

Those of you who follow BABD might enjoy this. I found it on Tumblr recently, and it was really refreshing:

This is a great point. You have no room to bitch about the sexualization of minors if you write fanfic about two fifteen year old sucking each other off.
I should also note that relatively speaking, the female characters in BNHA are pretty fairly portrayed. None of them are annoying little K-On moe blobs, none of them are turbo sluts (Midnight's alter-ego is just a persona; she's actually quite professional). Their body proportions are more realistic, and none of them have character motivations directly pertaining to men. BNHA also passes the Bechdel test. It's probably one of the least "problematic" mangas out there, yet I hear a whole lot more pissing and moaning about BNHA than any of its contemporaries.
Tumblrina's never bitch about the media that's the most problematic relatively speaking; they're lazy, so they only complain about popular things they have personal knowledge of.

Oh boy.
First of all, I dislike this art style because it's generic and kind of ugly.
Next of all, take a look at the brown kid in the top right corner. What really activates my almonds is that the two green haired dudes to his right are his brothers, who are nowhere near the same skin color he is. I mean I can accept him being a little more tan than the other two, but holy shit. It's like this artist took a random character to be the token minority without even considering anything else.
The brown one is the one on the far left.

Tumbr women usually only watch shows with lots of shonen protagonists to ship so they usually don't expose themselves to content with comical amounts of female sexualization.

the teen girls that used to be all abt "MAH YAOIZ XDDD" are p much ostracized by tumblr nowadays and have been exiled to the glorious land of weird fetishes and actual freedom of expression that is deviantart
now gay men are passé and lesbians are the cool new trend, and the women of tumblr find shows with lots of female characters for the sake of shipping them but get fucking pissed whenever the show reminds them what its actually about
like legit, a lot of em actually get into trashy shows and anime they dont even like for the sake of LESBIANZZZ and then complain that "my beautiful gay daughters are treated so poorly by this show! they dont deserve it!"

i think i prefer the good old yaoi lovers over these new ones
at least fujoshi admit they only like yaoi because they like seeing guys macking on eachother because its hot, and gay ppl could relate
now shipping is activism and it seems more like ppl like the concept of characters being gay more than they actually enjoy seeing gay stuff

I am probably one of the few people on earth that actually liked Problem Solverz but I can fully understand why most people would fucking hate it. I appreciate bizarre shit.
I kind of like the concept of kid core because it's interesting to me (like a lot of aesthetic stuff, it's very pop art-y), but a lot of the people that attempt it just apply the surface level concepts of it without any deeper understanding of art and what makes it work. That's just me, though.
I'm not really looking forward to that.
I'd rather forget the music and fashion of that period.
