Because this thread is proof that if God exsists he has a dark and twisted sense of humor. I'm not bothered by gay headcanons, but why does pretty much every headcanon involve turning the character into an annoying as all hell characiture of actual gay people, like they're usually drawn as either super-feminine softboys or plug-ugly slobs, also I'm not necessarily referring to these images but just the style in general. That third image is just plain weird, detatched head and lazy anatomy. The last image would actually be pretty well drawn if they cleaned up the sketch a bit and y'know, stopped trying to be so uwu 'rebewwious and pwogwessive' by having a hot dude in feminine clothing (smells like a fetish half the time tbh)Hetalia seems to be a common thing to SJWfy on Tumblr, especially with America.

God, the dumb woke-point attempts for Teh Gayz on tumblr is so cringeworthy and fake. I feel like it's always more to pat themselves on the back than make any content for the audience they're apparently trying to pander for. (also god this is ugly - armor is drawn ok though)

Hetalia seems to be a common thing to SJWfy on Tumblr, especially with America.
The brief "let's draw Turkey as a belly dancer" fad based on how popular belly dancing is in Turkey itself was amusing and, at times, provided nice fanwork. This is not amusing at all, it's gross and stupid.

this is a good example of how ppl miss the point when they draw dudes in the same sexy outfit as their female counterpart and say "see? its not sexy, its just weird, therefor SEXISM"
forgetting that men and women are often considered attractive in diff ways, even to ppl who are attracted to both, and diff features or body parts usually need to be emphasized
this is prob also why they feel the need to MAKE A POINT of sexualizing men almost OBSESSIVELY and REBELLIOUSLY, and desexualize, if not downright infantalize women. because they feel like men are never drawn sexy or sexual. but they ARE, just in diff ways than women

I actually really like this one, even if she's old and wrinkly. It shows genuine improvement (even if the second picture is extremely sketchy) and isn't the usual Tumblr style.

I think an interesting person to follow is drawjas
I actually like the was she colors stuff and some of her work is actually nice, but a lot of the characters she draws she makes hairy and gives them big hideous noses.
First of all just look at that description
Then you have stuff like this which would look really nice, but the arm hair ruins it for me

At least the SU stuff looks like androgynous aliens, which is more then I can say for the show itself.
