Disaster Shooting At STEM School Highlands Ranch (Colorado) - Two Shooters - One Dead, Eight Injured

One 18-year-old male was killed and eight students were hurt in a shooting at STEM School Highlands Ranch and police say “two shooters” were caught by officers running into the building. Both suspects are students at the school.

The school is located approximately 8 miles from Columbine High School in neighboring Jefferson County.

Denver7 reported that investigators believe at least one of the suspects stole the guns from the parents of the 18-year-old suspect,

Douglas County Sheriff Tony Spurlock confirmed that at least two handguns were used in the shooting.

High-ranking sources told Denver7 Tuesday night that three handguns and a rifle were recovered but said the rifle was not used in the shooting



HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo. – One student is dead and eight others injured after two of their classmates opened fire at a suburban Denver STEM school on Tuesday.

Superintendent Thomas S. Tucker said in a letter to parents that STEM School Highlands Ranch, a public charter school with more than 1,850 students in kindergarten through 12th grade, will be closed for the remainder of the week.

"This is a terrible event," Douglas County Sheriff Tony Spurlock said. "This is something that nobody wants to happen in their community."

Kendrick Castillo, 18, was identified Wednesday as the lone fatality, the sheriff said.

One suspect is a "female juvenile," police said after originally identifying the teen as male. The other was identified by police as Devon Erickson, 18.

I'm saying they - like the media - are making things worse. A lot of organizations tend to inflame the issue for their own greed, but SPLC is the only one I can think of that has mainstream backing -- only recently did Twitter drop them, but as far as I know Amazon and Facebook still use them on what charities to block and what organizations to silence as does Mastercard, Visa and Paypal on who gets donations.

I'm not saying they pulled the trigger, but I'd hardly call the FRC a violent hate group. It's the same as the current lynch mobs you see on social media or what happened with the Covington Boys. That man should be held accountable for the terrorism, but SPLC should be held accountable for their own bullshit. I'm not asking they be criminally charged, but they should be known for pouring gasoline on the fire.

Yeah I think we're going to agree to disagree. The FRC outright want to criminalize homosexual actions with prison time and have claimed all kinds of things about lgbt people being pedophile rapists ruining the military that would whip up frenzied and violent hatred. They aren't just some Christians minding their own business saying being gay is a sin like Focus on the Family or regular conservative preachers.

Not comparable to Covington Boys because as far as I can tell the boys were just being teens and both them and the native parade were getting harassed by some like NoI or Black Hebrew Isrealite type racists.

FRC is one of the ones they are most correct about being awful.
 
Given that Devon Erickson is an avowed lefty and his accomplice is a biological female AND transgender, I'm curious how quickly the mainstream media will try and sweep this under the rug.

The death toll and injuries are low enough that it would be fairly easy to make this whole tragedy fade away from the public eye since it runs counter to the usual narratives regarding mass shootings.

Of course, I am still curious about the identity of Devon's accomplice. If we know more about her, this might make the motives behind this shooting much more clear.

Like I mentioned earlier, the MSM is going to memoryhole this thing. Thankfully there was only one person killed (RIP to the fallen, and good luck to all the injured and to the docs that are taking care of 'em), but for the MSM, that won't satiate their bloodlust.

If this thing goes farther than say, Thursday evening, it'll be because they decide to angle this that Dumbfuck Devon and Co. were bullied at school and they snapped, and they'll wheel out the usual eggheads to regurgitate the usual "bullying is bad, and turns people mad and bad."

And sure as shit some MSM goblin will have to - have to - somehow connect this to Trump, because of course.

Maybe my standards are different since I'm jaded; mostly they would have to be linked to terrorist groups or funding active violence against people - if not outright participating - for me to categorize them as a proper hate group, otherwise I just consider them a malicious idiot like Westboro. Of which I haven't found anything on the FRC doing so -- other than being malicious idiots.

I do feel that if the SPLC was more fair in their targeting such matters wouldn't be such a concern and people wouldn't feel so attacked, because when you back a rat into a corner what does it do? If they added Muslim Brotherhood or CAIR for rhetoric they have yet to apologize for - much less who funds them and who they fund back - I think a lot of IdPol would lose its power. Both the Neo Nazi Fag type and the Antifa Fag type. That said the SPLC is after money first and foremost which I still feel makes the situation worse and otherwise makes people like the FRC look like victims.

And I wasn't really trying to compare the Covington Boys themselves to the FRC, but more the behavior with how quick it is to rile up people to want violent acts done which makes more unhinged people act out on what the public wants. Those boys don't really care who's gay or whatever, they good boys. I just dislike the media frenzy.

It's telling that the media is already trying to humanize the shooters with "fast facts" in between actual info about the shooting.
"Devon Erickson likes tattoos, music, and skateboarding!"
I don't remember them doing the same thing for Brenton Tarrant...
Fact #5: Brenton Tarrant liked long walks on the beach!

It's really bizarre how the media is handling this.

They talked about how he was a white nationalist. They didn't talk about his hobbies. They didn't humanize him in the same way, is what I'm saying.
If anything they did the opposite. I mean did you see pictures of Brenton Tarrant as a little boy? I didn't. But I know what Devon Erickson looked like at 10 or 11 years old now. I know that he went out one halloween as Slenderman. etc.
It's just odd.
