Shlomo Finkelstein / Aron Pielka Arrest - Shlomo Finkelstein is the pseudonym of a German youtuber who has currently been in prison for over half a year for wrongspeak

The European fundamentally does not understand freedom. They consider it the natural state of Man to be that of servitude to the state and freedom as a reward for good behavior, and not the American definition of a innate right.

All the people that did hopped on a boat and left for the New World a long time ago. Modern Europe is the result. All the adventures and free spirits abandoned the land or died in wars. All that's left is literal fucking peasants.

Glad I am in the USA:

What should have happened if the Polizei tried to serve the warrant.

Vance tried to warn Europe. In fact, the war against free speech has been stressed as a major problem for nearly 10 years.

The warlords and gang leaders in control of governments in Europe have monopolized the control over education and media in order to indoctrinate human beings to be as such
Thankfully it does not work on everyone
Some of the biggest intellectual heavyweights for the cause of liberty, such as the Austrian Ludwig von Mises, or the German Hans-Hermann Hoppe, are Europeans

The more things change, the more they stay the same.

A little background on the origins of the name "Shlomo Finkelstein"

He started way back when The Skeptics™ were still a thing. His original channel name was Die vulgäre Analyse (literally just "The vulgar analysis") because and used a lot of profanity in his videos as he destroyed his targets with facts and logic.

Two of his main topics were the beginning SJWification of the German Public Broadcasting (which every German has to pay for. If you don't, you go to jail. But it's totally not a tax!) and the beginning "problems" with Muslims in Europe. In fact, he hated the Muzzies' shenanigans so much, that he used to use a video of a burning Koran as background in his videos. Later he mixed it up a bit by grilling bacon on the Koran and by putting out the fire with pig's blood or by pissing on it. That's part of the reason why he's locked up right now: Muslims were still a highly protected group, and criticizing them publicly was a big no-no.

The Muslims themselves weren't too happy either: They threatened him a lot. Most "just" promised to kill him, but many also accused him of being a Jew. Shlomo was still anonymous at the time (journoscum later doxed him), so it became a meme that his real name was Shlomo Finkelstein - and it stuck.
He mentioned in the video that he doesn't have a problem supporting Israel and is actually critical of antisemitism. I wonder if his opinion on that has been impacted at all by the fact that merely having that name added to his prison sentence.

And I'm sure all of these Muslims were also arrested for hate speech and put to jail as well, right? lol

Some of us do. I increasingly feel alone in doing so though.
It’s just popped into my head as was thinking ‘God given rights’ that the increasing atheism and statism of the world negates that concept in peoples minds as well. Created is repeated often in your documents. Americans are more religious than Brits and so you’re more into the idea that there’s something bigger and our rights flow from that.
Yet people who think they just occurred maybe are less inclined to think that humans are entitled to a set of innate, or God given or inherent rights. Their authority is the state and they think the state is the highest authority.
It also reflects their level of moral development. If there’s nothing truly bigger than you than the state, and nothing above the state, then how do you get past that Kohlberg stage of conditional morality into the stage where you synthesise a morality based on concepts above national law?

J.D. Vance should jump on this. It perfectly illustrates his point.

People in situations like this should be given priority status as potential refugees to the USA.

Is your draconian faggot government denying your human right to free speech and persecuting you for wrongthink? Come to the United States.
I remember there was a push to do that for Dankula, but he didn't want it. He wanted to stay in Scotland and fight. There's probably others that feel similar, and I wish them Godspeed.

Serious proposal: Stop sending Germany any aid until they drop their draconian hate speech laws.
FIFY. Give me one good reason why Germany should receive U.S. aid at all?

Vance tried to warn Europe. In fact, the war against free speech has been stressed as a major problem for nearly 10 years.

The reason Germany is this way is because of the United States. The ultimately irony is that the Soviet Union didn’t brow beat its part of occupied Germany and didn’t inundate them with white guilt.

Say what you want about muh communism but East Germans were far safer than they are under ZOG.

There is a reason our documents are written the way they are. Europe really hasn't changed much in the last 250 years. The King and similar concepts were merely replaced by the state. We saw that, and wrote our founding documents, our rights, in such a way as to that the state had no claim over them. A higher power did.

The fact @Null is in this thread after also covering Perry Caravello in the last MATI gives me hope he's gonna dig deeper on the whole Perry Project rabbit hole. He's kind of a proto lolcow from before it was a well understood thing.

Edit: While I'm risking my account tagging null anyway I also recommend TCAP/Chris Hansen/Lorne Armstrong. That's another one where I'm surprised an old lolcow master like Josh has relatively little interest in the sagas there.

You know what Musk and Trump are right the US should withdraw from NATO and start cutting ties from these whackos before they fully bring this shit to the States, trannies have been drooling at the mouth to get this same “hate speech” law “protections” instilled here

Germany is the kind of police state the UK would be if we had competent bureaucrats and German efficiency.
Starmer probably reads stuff like this and gets excited.
Back when the UK still made that sort of data available, it had shown more convictions for thought crime than any other European country.

This is too sus for me.
I think, 6 cases
10. According to:

Volksverhetzung (§130 StGb)
Verbreitens von Propagandamitteln verfassungswidriger und terroristischer Organisationen (§86 StGb)
Beleidigung religiöser Bekenntnisse (§166 StGb)
The case with the longest individual sentence, one year, regards playing back a song by a US comedian
The total sentence was 1 year. Not 10 different ones. 10 counts of crimes. One sentence.
A good moment to remind you that, currently, there are almost 146,000 open arrest warrants in Germany. Among them are 1473 open arrest warrants for so-called crimes against life, that is murder, manslaughter, and attempted murder, attempted manslaughter. These persons have not been apprehended yet. But if it is about locking up someone who violated probation terms - which, in this case, means paying 600 euros too late and not having updated his registered address - for someone like that we put 5 people under surveillance.
The timeline is missing. See:
  1. Offenses occured during during 2017-2019
  2. 2020 sentenced to the 600 Euro and 3 years probation
  3. 2022 probation was removed duo to breaking the terms
  4. August 2024. Arrested
It also takes gives a lot of goodwill towards him. It took 2 years to remove the probation. The text sounds different from getting the letter with the sentence too late and then getting fucked by it. I get the outrage of getting the probation removed for missing the deadline by a week because of a late letter, but that whole thing took 2 years. The fuck was happening.

This also makes it sound like he was a top priority, which he clearly wasn't.

I disagree wth the sentence, but given this very selective take, I can't put much trust in his side of the story. Probably wasn't 15 police officers. And rather 2. But that isn't causing outrage. And this leads to this reasonable take, if you take everything in the story for granted and not treat each political actor as you should, a potential lolcow.
For me as a layman, that sounds unusual. The fact that someone who is considered not dangerous gets arrested in public by a 15-man police unit also sounds unusual to me. The fact that the correctional facility approaches you unsolicited to ask you if you want to fill out this form for an earlier release also sounds unusual to me. The fact that a one year sentence has been demanded for playing back a song also sounds unusual to me.

The whole description doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me and therefore I will remain sceptical.
