People have kind of retroactively agreed to forget how popular (prolific might be a better word) Shadman was.
They've (older creators) also Changed their opinion on Loli art, which is good, but some of them act like they never wanted to be associated with him to leech some of his popularity.

Well as I point out a lot when I hear some zoomer talk about "edgy humor" today and I point out the type of shit which was common place on even the most basic forum full of teenage/young adult members. This was a time where most people just said whatever they wanted with 0 real life repercussions for the most part, I'm sure anyone who was online from 2003 to 2010 remembers the amount of times dead baby jokes, rape jokes, racist jokes (etc) were extremely common place and you didn't bat an eye like most people do today. The issue is with that defence is on what scale did you do those things, did you actively encourage and create within the space those jokes inhabited, or did you just sit there parroting it and going along with it because everyone else was?
