The only reason I can see is someone buying it so they can take it down and bury everything that’s archived. AKA “catch and kill”. Torrents are out of normie reach so while they’re better than nothing, their archival power is diminished.

Musk won’t buy. He’s an edgelord but the Tesla board probably keeps him on enough of a leash that buying the farms isn’t an option.
