This is the most disingenuous feedback for a game I’ve ever seen.

Away from gross zoosadism-themed shitposts and back to the game: Matt, I’m sure your heart is in the right place, but Celeste and Souls are DRASTICALLY different games and your design philosophies probably wouldn’t translate well over to this game

All because one little sperg couldn't keep their mouth shut, twitter is blowing up with that 'you cheated yourself' tweet and patting themselves on the asses for shitting on enthusiasts. Voices of legitimately disabled people telling them to fuck off and not speak for them are squashed under a mountain of moralizing, clickbait, and fishing for extra woke points. Around and around the carousel goes.

Gods above I hate this generation.

I dunno, the meme has made for some pretty clever stuff.

The thought occurred to me: you know what would have made stealth more viable and force you to use it rather than run past enemies and just let them de-aggro most of the time? Give the enemies a ranged attack that they can use when you are a set distance away. Like, they only throw firebombs when you're on a tree branch or on top of a building or something.

While you do have some going "GAMERS RISE UP" over the "you cheated yourself" meme, others have actually made some funny shit over it like tweet making use of a penguin from Mario 64 to use the copypasta. Still, cheats pretty much change the experience.

As for disabled people, there was this:

Internal ableism is enough to make this person sound ableist.

"Hey, I can jump over ogre grabs, this is easy"
Proceeds getting drop kicked every time I jump

Other than that, buttercunt and last boss made me almost break my controller. Rest of the game was more or less pretty smooth ride

To add onto this, this is how you make Stealth more of a thing you need to do rather than make it optional. Give enemies a ranged bomb attack but add enemies like the bird enemies from the Painted World in Dark Souls 1. So if you get spotted enemies like that descend and go after your ass. To balance it so you can run through the area once you're done, you just put a beacon spot somewhere guarded by something. So if you destroy the beacon or the summoner (kind of like the Necromancers in Dark Souls 1) you don't have to worry about flying enemies descending on you. Just put the beacon/summoner near the end of the map towards the boss and you're done: you're forced to stealth now.

On the other side of the Sekiro spergery: someone makes a tweet that gets a bit too spergy over some PC Gamer journalist cheating the final boss of Sekiro.

On one hand, this tweet is spergy. On the other hand, I get what he means. Cheating a final boss can cheapen the experience, plus it's not like other reponse tweets can end up being better than this if you got something like this:

Oh for fuck's sake.

I have to admit, it was fun to see him cheese the Long Arm Centipede Giraffe. Fuck that boss. Yeah, I know, I know, he teaches you the posture system blah blah blah. Fuck that boss.

Only just got this a week ago. Probably a massive mistake considering I've never played a Souls game and generally don't really go for 'hard' games. I'm just a hoe for that Japanese shit.
But anyway, I'm enjoying it at the moment, it's just awkward to play when you're busy. Like, I'll spend two hours learning mechanics and then not play it for a few days. Then forget it all, rinse and repeat.
(I also kind of prefer Nioh but I'm not far in Sekiro just yet so maybe I'm full of shit). Still, lol at the people freaking out over it. Just go play something else, yikes.

It's actually a lot easier to pick up if you haven't played a souls game, because the fundamentals are a lot different and it's hard to remove your muscle memory after so many years of playing Souls. A lot of souls players griped initially because it was "hard" and it's extremely hard if you play it like a souls game.
