Another year has passed, and December is right around the corner. The forum has been through a lot and a Secret Santa seems more appropriate than ever. I would love to help organize it or just help and maybe some of the organizers of last year are still around.

If there is nothing planned yet? If not, I would propose to reuse @Overly Serious post from last year as it worked really well imo. (There might need to be some adjustments due to AI generated art.)

About time somebody is running Secret Santa. I would be more than happy to help if need be. Use the thread template from previous SS, make adjustments if need be.

I ran it two years ago. It can be a hassle keeping track of gifts, Secret Santas, helpers and backups in case one decides to drop it. Only do it if you feel able to handle that responsibility and keep in contact with the proper folks.

I'd be more then happy to try and would much appreciate any input from former organizers. I'll create a group with anyone that wants to help so we can see how to run it.

I'll probably participate in the next Secret Santa (not as a helper, just a participant), and if I'm reading it right, the last one had AI generated images as optional/probably unacceptable. Maybe for this one you can request the users to write (along their likes/dislikes/fun fact/etc) if they're willing to accept AI stuff.

Also, hopefully when the time comes, Secret Santa gets featured at the top, otherwise some people (which includes me) might miss it.

I don't think we should outright EXCLUDE AI creation, but it needs to be supplemented by something creative or transformative.

Skilled PROOMPTERS are artists in their own right, especially with sneaking nipples and attractive curves past the oppressive AI's finger-wagging.

One thing I think I'd like to suggest is discouraging users from being too vague in their likes/dislikes. A good example of this would be this post from 2021's Secret Santa (I'm still thankful to this day I didn't get this guy as my giftee). Having a bit more details to go on other than "action movies" or "RPGs" would be extremely helpful.

Oh boy, mine was so much worse. I thought I was doing something nice by keeping it as open as possible. Looking back at it I was definitely in the wrong.

@Overly Serious and me are in planning for this years Secret Santa! I'm just leaving this here to let people know that it is in planning!
