Rewatched the last episode just now.

I missed you-know-who's sunglasses the first time, though I knew Jack was looking for his portal.

If Aku refers to Ashi's conception as that one time...does that mean that, through all millenia Ashi and her sisters remain his only offspring? Makes sense if you consider Aku is immortal and doesn't need heirs, but it also serves to draw a parallel between him and Jack:

Both Aku's and Jack's chastity is tied by Ashi. Aaaaawwwkward.

But to kill him, he'd have to kill her
In the Aku Infection, Jack inhaled a chunk of aku's darkness and went through a similar process of transformation as Ashi, the only big difference being the fact that Jack as Aku developed a like consciousness to aku himself, destroying the monk's time portal in the process. Since Jack was able to destroy the Aku within himself without harming the real aku, it could be that Duplicates of Aku have the will of Aku, but remain independent in terms of mortality. If your talking about Jack killing Ashi by killing the Aku in not-future Japan, then I think that may be on point. Unless Jack went back in time to a point after he was sent through the first time portal, in which case Ashi might be able to live on account of the circumstances that caused the future still being technically met at some point.

Edit: Time Travel Bullshit is Bullshit

I know I'm a little late on this. (Like very late, call me autistic loser fagnerd shitlord because I deserve those insults). But what's with everyone kept referring Ashi as a teenager? It's really annoying everyone kept saying she doesn't have a "fully developed brain" (before she went on the good side with jack). Which never mind the fact most adult characters in cartoons don't acted mature either. Bojack Horseman is an attention-seeking celebrity who does stupid choices yet no one on tumblr calls him a teenager.

And it's not just tumblr reacting to jashi's canon but also 4chan too. http://knowyourmeme.com/photos/1252595-samurai-jack

Fun fact: two weeks ago I went on /co/ (embarrassing, I know.) just to see the reactions on jashi, and almost all of their threads got deleted mere seconds later because just like tumblr everyone interprets Ashi as a child.

And I thought 4chan was the sane one, Guess I was wrong.

(Edit: Can't wait for the season finale everyone.)

Última edición:
And Jack himself hasn't even aged physically at all. And assuming Ashi is in her late 20s - early 30s, it's likely that the Daughters of Aku were born at least halfway into the fifty year timespan since Jack lost his blade. This makes the pedophilia claims autistic as fuck.

Speaking of Ashi, it's funny how places like /co/ call her a Mary-Sue (a word that's as overrated and overrused as the word overrated itself) for the shit she does in this season, when Jack himself has gotten away with even more ridiculous shit throughout the course of the whole series. I can understand that Genndy only has ten episodes to work with this time, but good lord it's like female characters aren't allowed any form of development beyond being a useless damsel in distress.

Sometimes they do. Hell /pol/ can sometimes be liberal and it's scary. It's usually just /co/ getting infected by the tumblr disease.

So, how do you guys think it will end? A happy ending where Jack comes out on top, or a sad ending where he experiences loss (like having to kill Ashi in order to kill Aku)?

cancelled for 10 years but Jack appears in a crossover episode with grandpa uncle

And this is the same board were they shipped themselves with child characters and for wanting to fuck them for christ sake. But then they have the audacity to call jack a pedo because his dating a woman in her 20s. (OK this is my last post talking about /co/ because led me to nowhere).

Tumblr was so busy pushing this imaginary father/daughter relationship to the point where they all collectively headcanoned that Ashi was some sort of stupid inept toddler without the show actually indicating any such thing. Jack's shown to be an honorable pure-hearted guy throughout the entire run of the show. I highly doubt he would pursue a relationship with a literal child. Him and Ashi are both consenting adults with a clear bond and shared goal.

But now all of tumblr's Flora/Ashi fanfics are ruined so clearly the relationship is pedophilic.

Well on the bright side, he killed Aku, finally! :D

On the downside, he didn't get no fuck because he erased his gf from existence. Weird how she disappeared at the marriage ceremony and not right after he killed Aku, but I guess dramatic effect and heart strings pulling was the decision there.

So as it turns out, returning to the past and changing it would not result in two timelines being created. Ashi, the Scotsman, and everyone else no longer exist. Unless the gods decide to reward them with an afterlife.

I'm going to miss this wacky show. :heart-empty:

@King n Yellow The sheer amount of time Aku sent Jack forward into the future probably kept history from completely changing straight away.
