120 episodes of edaddy "wash your balls and impregnate 100 women bro!" Not a grift, most stuff is still comedy on mde, but I am tired of those podcasts.
Almost everything after World Peace got cancelled has been about self-help, that was most of what Hyde Wars was. I liked HydeWars up until around ep. 30 ~ 40 because it was still somewhat new to hear Sam talking non-ironically about real-life issues that people face, like dealing with debt, finding a job you're passionate about, making money, giving people advice (good or bad).
Now it's just boring, he's been doing the same premise for 8 years.
Sam is a 40 year old man, in 2012 ~ 13 he was somewhat immersed in the internet culture of that era, it's not the case anymore, Sam's not browsing 4chan or KiwiFarms to see what's going on that could be a funny to talk about, that's why so much of his content is just him regurgitating ideas from a difference place in time. Politically he tip toes from early 2000's neocon talking points and mid 2010's "anti-woke", "pro-Trump" debate - mostly shit he read on 4chan back when he used to be online.
In terms of his comedy i think there was a constant evolution up until 2015, after the show got cancelled then comedy took a backseat to the self-help bullshit.
Sam also got lucky with crypto and now, because he's somewhat wealthy from basically gambling, he thinks he's a self made man like Bill Gates or something.
He doesn't say that outloud, but he likes to think that his "hard work" got him rich, not the fact that he maxed out his credit cards to buy crypto and got lucky.
I'm not saying that there's anything wrong with the fact that he got rich from investing in crypto, all i'm saying is that Sam got lucky and his financial advice comes from a guy with a decent safety net who basically won the lottery. If EVERYTHING went to shit Sam could stilve move in with mommy and daddy and find a normal job to be a wagie.
A man that works a 9-5 for his money and manages to save up a little bit here and there shouldn't listen to Sam, he will tell you to put all your life savings in crypto because that's basically the only thing he did and "hey, it worked for me".
