Except the fucking industry isn’t in just LA anymore. It’s in New York, it’s in fucking Georgia, IT’S IN MORE PLACES THEN FUCKING LOS ANGELES YOU TARD. Literally, go anywhere, do something to be entertaining then pretend that California is the be all end all place for getting raped so you can be a background actor in the next season of whatever the fuck gets put out these days.

Yeah nah she's just a dipshit. LA housing is completely fucked but I spent 5 minutes on Zillow and found plenty of options under $2k/month. Also when Twitter people talk about LA they mean specifically Burbank, Glendale, Pasadena, Santa Monica, and North Hollywood. Everywhere else in LA County is for people who aren't in the entertainment industry (filthy poors, minorities, and Goyim)

I have negative sympathy for anyone that complains about the price of living in LA. It's a dirty hobo city with inflated prices on everything because the residents are all retarded faggots. Enjoy your inevitable bankruptcy, I hope you the other homeless beggars steal your cardboard box.
Instead of pointlessly screaming into the void at the government to solve a problem it can't solve (problems that were caused by it being in industries/regulations it shouldn't be involved with in the first place), this fucking idiot could do a thousand things to not bankrupt herself to follow a pipedream that will never happen for her untalented ass.

I'm guessing it is probably asking too much for Fiona to have an epiphany and realize how terrible it is to live in a one party supermajority rule state. Particularly when that one party is the party of NIMBY-ism who create draconian zoning laws making it next to impossible to build affordable housing. But hey, at least that political party tries to punish people who commit the crime of using biologically correct pronouns which is all that matters, right Fiona?

I figure it's 50/50 on whether or not Disney or some equivalent even thinks it's worth posting a sizeable bid for. In theory, if some indie studio scoops it up they could easily just fire and replace the old crew if they give them shit for doing what's necessary to unfuck their product. Would the crew really be in a position to bite the hand that feeds them?
About the only bargaining chip they would have is the ability to potentially crowdfund their own budget in exchange for broad discretion on the direction of the show. I do think that even with such a diminished audience they could probably raise a decent amount of money with a KickFundMe. It's surprising how easily such campaigns can pull seven figure sums even for relatively obscure IPs with relatively small fanbases.
You sure WB won't sell these IPs to the likes of Paramount Global?

It's quite optimistic to assume that WB/Discovery will be able to sell those IPs for anything more than a stick of Wrigley's juicy fruit and some pocket lint. They may get more value making it a tax write-off and vaulting whatever remains.
Recall WB didn't actively acquire Rooster Teeth, rather it was part of the grab bag of online media & related companies that made up Otter Media - most of which, I believe, Discovery has already deep sixed.

After learning the company was going under, I decided to finish Red Vs. Blue since I stopped watching at season 14. I could never have imagined how truly awful the most recent season, season 18, was. The fact that they managed to stay afloat for 3 years after releasing that abomination is honestly an achievement in and of itself. Glad the company is finally getting put down.

I doubt the IP is valuable enough to justify salvaging it over developing an original “western produced anime.” There’s definitely a market for it but RWBY has so many issues that just continuing it would probably be a nightmare and remaking it would alienate the existing fanbase unless they made something amazing. Even if they bought it for pennies on the dollar the production costs would outweigh the potential profits.

That was more a tax thing, they got money back by shelving it. And no one is likely willing to pay WB what they'd lose if they did let it be released.
Rooster Teeth on the other hand was shut down because it was losing money and doing terrible. If Burnie bought it and brought in people he actually liked working with and thought could do a good job, it wouldn't affect WB. I'd be interested in seeing what he did, or what new owners did, but I doubt it'll actually happen.
That makes sense in the post Marvel media landscape. After all, there was a time where Marvel properties were considered near worthless before they became billion dollar properties under Disney.
Now every IP owner guards IP's with their lives just in case they luck out and end up being connected to some other Billion dollar IP expanded universe.
