Roman Catholic or Protestant? Which would you choose?

No idea how people can read the gospels and come out of that without serious skepticism about religious authorities. Folks who take that bait are way too kiked up for me. I don't identify as "protestant", but they're closer to what Abraham, Moses, Jesus, John, Paul, Peter, etc. described than the papist heretics of Rome.

Of course protestant, as in core it is focusing on you as an individual and your relation with g*d, which guides you to respecting yourself and your work ethic.
C*tholics can just offer you victim complex and giving up children to be raped by old homos dressed in black skirts.

Just have a look on which societies are more successful.

I'm not sure I consider myself either. I just follow what the Bible tells me, go to Church and and Bible Study to better understand it.

As Christians, we should all agree that Jesus is our Lord and Savior, is the son of God, died for our sins, came back and made it so that we are saved by his grace and not by our works. So why all the different denominations? I just feel that muddies the waters and makes it harder for people to truly find Jesus.

Catholicism is the only one that makes sense and I mean that back to the united body of the Church. It just floors me every day that one of the ways we are divorced from Eastern Orthodoxy is because of the filioque, something that is such a big deal, the Vatican has said they don't give a rat's ass if Eastern Rite Catholics omit it or not. If it is OK for them and it was never in the creed anyway, WTF? Just needed to rant about it.

Prostestianism is the british telling the pope to fuck off and they wont pay taxes

Catholicism is an actual religion
Disgraced German priest Martin Luther wants to know your location!

The English (and by extension British) crown became the head of their branch of protestantism thanks to Henry the 8th, nothing to do with taxes, twas over divorce and the king not getting the thing he wanted more than anything: a male heir to reach adulthood.
