Roleplay.

I know you’ve done it before.

Talk about it.

…joking aside, this stuff is what got me into writing. I did a lot of it when I was little and it really helped me gain the courage to write some of my own stories and start improving on that skill.

I’m not talking about horny shit (god no) or *uwu* *nuzzles u* stuff either. I mean only the purest, most distilled form of roleplay autism ever known to man: “collaborative writing”.
Doing “scenes” with other people where your characters interact and usually end up fighting, where a larger group of people fuck around and usually go on an interconnected adventure to fight god(s) while gaining superpowers and a friend group, and where you end up learning that middle-school-tier drama doesn’t need to start at middle school.

Regardless of how autistic this stuff is, I found it very fun and I’ve gotten a bunch of stories about weird retards and obsessive tumblrites out of it (+ the aforementioned increase in writing proficiency), so I thought “hey other people here probably have some of those too”. Share some of those here if you want.

Alternatively, post funny shit. I know some people have the balls to do this in public- only the worst writers, too- and this site is made for laughing at people. So post funny stuff to laugh at! Whatever you want, as long as it’s related to the most autistic form of writing ever imagined.

A long ago ex was friends with a group of people that played DND. So she got me to play with them, sadly I didn’t know I’d be the only guy there. Worst part was that not only were they all girls but they were “quirky” girls. The whole game was filled with Doctor Who references, the DM made a room play the pop tart cat tune while lemons filled the room. They also kept acting out the Potter Puppets video….

I could never really get the knack for extended roleplays, I think. I'd only be able to last a few posts before quitting, which likely says a lot about my overall creativity. I find I do better writing stories, generally, rather than roleplaying with someone. There's no expectation of a reply, and you can essentially work on your writing at whatever pace you desire.

Roleplay seems to attract the biggest faggotry in my experience. From online rp in gmod, which is pure unfiltered autism, to the few DND games I've played before getting banned, it's all pretty gay. The group that I played DND with, had people that fit the neckbeard redditor and poljak profile to a T, with all the associated charm ofc.

I mean, if you're playing with a small group of friends, pen and paper roleplay games can be very fun. But you'd need the right group of people and for people not to take it too seriously, otherwise it quickly becomes faggotry.
I put on my robe and wizard hat.

I played on a gmod darkrp server once if that counts
DarkRP is so fucking terrible nowadays. DarkRP was at it's comfiest in 2012-2013 when it was minor addons added to the core gamemode. All active servers since have become a cesspool of addons just to load into a fucking server.

The closest I ever got to that is TTRPGs and I've always preferred the setting building aspect of them than the roleplaying or even the game. This may be because I've been designated as my groups forever GM and I almost never got to be a player.
