I agree. Slop like Zimbardo's "The Lucifer Effect" has convinced normies that we all secretly have the same amount of evil within us that pedo-Jews do. (I'm not going to derail the thread but you can look up the criticisms of Zimbardo's Stanford Prison Experiment.) Sure, normal everyday people can be pushed to morally-gray actions. But it takes an absolute sociopath with different brain chemistry to become a Jeffrey Epstein. I don't think you could turn everyone into a Jeffrey Epstein. I don't think if I amassed billions of dollars that I'd become a child rapist. But I do think there's a correlation between those that want to amass billions at any means necessary and child rapists.
 
While understandably overshadowed by the grooming stuff, Roblox also has the child labor problem. Actually, the two are not mutually exclusive. There's genuine "workplace sexual harassment" that the underage "developers" are subjected to.

The reason they dont make it focused on adults is pretty awful but typical.

Kids are easy to market to, because they can convince their parents to buy what they believe is what will make them happy. Young adults/teenagers are easy to market to especially with things like gambling and games that are questionable (weird perverse towing the line shit to full on nudity in the roblox item market), because they have sadly not learned valuable lessons yet to stay away from things like that. It should be criminal and honestly I hate that it happens I really do and I hate that I know this is the reason why they dont just dive into making the site adult focused with a firm age cutoff of 18. Its all about the bottom line and squeezing whatever they can out of children while putting them in danger and giving them contact to individuals who would do them harm. Please everybody, use this as a cautionary tale if you have a family. You would not believe the ways in which these awful monsters try to infiltrate in and hurt our most vulnerable.

From what I have seen of these "games" it is just put money in and thing happens. or you get some kind of power if you pay enough? Its basicly a whales paradise and from what was documented it seemed far too many kids in this game beg these kinds of people for stuff. You can probably understand where that might lead. Even the game designers themselves are not vetted and often have an awful past full of child exploitation be it work or more horribly, actual child sexual assault. The things I have read are awful and im so disgusted by Robloxes conduct that ive warned anyone I can about it because its simply not interested in becoming a better and safer place for children unless its forced to by law

Because their pedophile moderation and ownership would just try and divert the child users there anyway from Roblox, and why pay rent on two different warehouses when it's cheaper and simpler to do it under one roof? They understand, if nothing else, the logistics behind raping kids.

Not sure. To my understanding Baszucki played the role of the CEO and "visionary" while Cassel did the early technical engineering work.

That makes me wonder. Around the time Erik died, Roblox went into its death spiral. Nothing but ridiculous decision after ridiculous decision. I think Erik was David's tard wrangler.

It's not just the "badgering parents into subsidising a terminally online predator's paradise" angle to worry about. You're also overlooking how Roblox has an actual, company-sanctioned form of Real-World Trading. Unlike most MMORPGs, it's a two-way exchange affair. You can buy Robux with USD and you can exchange Robux for USD. MMOs like RuneScape allow you to buy an in-game item (bonds) that provide a direct benefit to the player (i.e. paying for membership in 14-day intervals, in-game MTX, etc), you can sell the item to other players for massive profit, but the TOS expressly disallows other players from trading RSGP for real-world money. For the long-term health of the game, it's best if the RWT functions only in one direction: from the game developer/publisher to the customer.

Obviously, RWT/goldfarming sites have existed for every online game since time immemorial, every MMORPG has a black market value on their in-game gold, but the name of the game is to disincentivise RWT by getting as close to the mark as possible without outright sanctioning it. Roblox decided "Fuck the lessons learned by games like RuneScape, EVE, World of Warcraft, and Final Fantasy XIV; we're doing things in both ways!"

Basically, the brokest, most terminally online ages for a kid to be on the internet are how Roblox managed to have such a massive selection of games in the first place. All these games were basically authored in the past by people who were children at the time. Kids don't have any concept of value for their labour; everything's a passion project at that age. The big bottleneck should be a parent's willingness to pay for Robux, the same way it would've been a parent's willingness to pay for RuneScape, World of Warcraft, EVE, FF14, etc. You can argue that a good amount of parents would still put their foot down and say "no," but Roblox is fundamentally F2P with a two-way Robux exchange affair.

Broke kids who need Robux for whatever reason then make themselves absurdly available to predators who lure them off to Discord (officially sanctioned by Roblox btw). Predators convince the kids to do nasty stuff, kid gets an assload of Robux, they can exchange some of those Robux at an absurd loss for $10-$15, which to a broke kid, basically means "hey, I can buy McDonalds on my own without asking my mom for five bucks."

Roblox benefits from a two-way RWT exchange because it incentivises broke kids with no sense to work absurd hours to make and maintain the games they host, predators benefit from a two-way RWT exchange because it allows them a way to directly exploit children in a manner that (unless they were raised properly) wouldn't blink twice at.

Yeah you can link Discord servers to Roblox groups and Xitters to Roblox profiles. So these chat restrictions basically mean nothing. Even with these new chat restrictions, I've read that this new system will still allow users of different age categories to chat with each other if they add each other.

Roblox also put another nail in its own coffin with User Generated Content (UGC) avatar items. Prior to UGC, all avatar items were made by Roblox. But now with UGC, there's plenty of tranny and hypersexualized avatar items for kids to wear. I'm sure selling trannypedo avatar clothing to children makes the CEO a lot of shekels though.

This is really fascinating íf you think about it. Normies are conditioned to think the current form of government is "the good" one and all the others are "evil" (heckn' nazis). But the moment they do something that would considered evil, it's now necessary for... reasons!?

It was never about morals here, it's just rules for thee but not for me. It's propaganda to keep people delusional enough to let things be as they are without anyone coming for them in minecraft. I think the video I linked describes the practical reasons for why shaddy stuff pops up in politics (ignoring the gay comparison between democracy and dictatorship), but the approach would indeed be different depending on who is in charge and I don't think they all are the same as these kike hacks are trying to convince in academia.

Erik definitely would've been the one to reach out to Schlep himself and offer a direct line into Roblox so he can work with them and law enforcement to quash the predator problem. Hell, he'd have snapped pretty hard at anyone who even so much as thought of drafting that cease and desist letter.
