Not necessarily for everyone. There are bedridden people or close to that who need zimmerframes at that age. There's people out there still fit and active like David Attenborough. He might not do long trecks in wilderness, but he does daily walks and otherwise is independent and mentally agile. But if you have generic problems like that I'd probably wish death before the symptoms get too bad.

As for Bonnie, I'm going to play through Battlefield 4 again. I was thinking of doing it anyway.

Marie Fredricksson going was a shock to me as well., but I didn't know of her cancer diagnosis decades earlier.
Someone else like Tina Turner I knew for many years about her health issues. She's had numerous ones since the 70s so at least I kind of expected her to go within this decade sadly.

He might have been a journo, but he was one of the good ones.

To give non-Ausfags a bit of an idea as to the kind of guy Derryn Hinch was, he was sent to jail several times for naming and shaming sex offenders who were subject to suppression orders at the time. He eventually became a Senator, and introduced a bill to restrict the overseas travel of convicted paedophiles which subsequently came into law.

So yeah, I'm pouring out a big glass of red wine for Derryn tonight. Vale.

That entire concept is evil from its core. The notion of "protecting" a criminal at all is offensive to begin with, but just the term "suppression" gives away from word one what the intention of such orders is -- the spread of evil and the protection of the people of spread it.

Good on him for responding "suppress this, niggers!"
 
I’ve known and loved “holding out for a hero” long before this, but my standout memory is from one of the Saints Row games where it’s blaring while you’re rushing to save one of the characters towards the end. Before the series went to shit of course. Can’t forget the CWC cover either, which is one of the few pieces of CWC media I can show to normies and get a solid laugh. RIP
 
Randolph Mantooth, who played fireman and paramedic Johnny Gage on "Emergency!" has passed away at the age of 80. This one kind of hits close to home. We watched that show every week. He was one of the stars my sister had a thing for growing up. It was nice to see him turn up in roles later, like when he popped up on "Battlestar Galactica" or "seaQuest DSV".

Experience has shown me that if someone uses such a trite, ameliorating phrase, they're almost certainly a wise judiciary unselfishly letting us in on the wealth of knowledge they possess, making their word is as good as truth.
 
Ub Iwerks came up with the multiplane camera, a big key to the success of Disney's pictures. Think Photoshop layers, but as a physical copystand for individual animation cels. The idea was you could manipulate each individual layer to give the animation a depth effect you couldn't do otherwise.
