RIP John C. Dvorak, No Agenda show host and columnist.

This made me sad. I have a backlog of a few episodes to listen to and John is the highlight of the show for me. Now I know after the few episodes I have left it just won't be the same.

Just last week he made me chuckle in the crew lounge while I was doing paperwork and prompted me to "hit someone in the mouth" (told the guy sitting across from me about the show when he asked what I was listening to).

I'm absolutely heartbroken.

Mike Preston, actor known for staring in the movie Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior as settle leader Pappagallo, died at the age of 93 on June 8th of this year. Also that is the second death this year, relating to Mad Max 2.

Ride eternal, shiny and chrome. This is a message to me to do a Mad Max marathon soon. And to finally watch Metalstorm: The Destruction of Jared-Syn, a movie I've known about for decades, but still have somehow never seen.

Pioneering female scuba diver, underwater photographer, and actress Zale Perry passed away on July 20th at the age of 93. She appeared in TV shows like "Kingdom of the Sea", "Sea Hunt", and "Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea", as well as "Wagon Train" and "Peter Gunn". In 1957 she doubled for Sophia Loren in the underwater scenes for "Boy on a Dolphin".
