Considering Pollo's age, I doubt it was ween related. My guess is either his body just started shutting down from being old, or he got into something outside like a pesticide or chemical as previously mentioned.

Cats can live a good healthy age if they are taken care of. I was wondering whatever happened to Pollo. 15 is ripe for a cat, though.

That's really sad. I adopted my girl at 10 and she's now nearly 20 so this reminds me of her. I actually genuinely commend him for taking in an older cat.

What a shitty thing to happen. I rarely have empathy for Chris but he must be genuinely hurting over the loss of both cats in the span of 2 weeks or so. I lost one of my pets last week in a freak accident so this hits me hard in the feels.

So I've been reading through the replies people are making on Chris' Twitter posts - some of you really need to get out more and realize that while Chris is Chris, he's still human and has emotional attachments to other human beings and his pets.

I know he's a bit of a Looney Tune when it comes to other aspects of his life (his love harem, etc.) but at the end of the day - he still has to put his pants on like the rest of us, bleeds red, and deep down has a heart.

Anyway, the trend I'm starting to see is that most of the people hating on him don't tend to be Kiwis - they read the forum, for sure - but most of the people who actively post here (keyword: most) actually want to see Chris be happy with his day to day life.

Yeah, I get it - he's funny to watch for me too - but at the end of the day he's still a human being and due a basic level of respect.

He's lost two cats in two weeks and people are still poking fun - go choke on a chicken bone.
