You're not missing much. However there is a little b-storyline running through the series about one of the alien children keeping miniaturized humans in a terrarium type of thing in his wall that's pretty good. It gets its own episodes sometimes.

Bingo, the voice can probably be imitated well enough but a lot of the dialogue is improved by Justin.

Good improv is not something you can just start doing out of the blue, guy might be a creep but he's very talented.

On one hand, Justin is probably an insufferable faggot and I don't feel sorry for him that much. Also, it is always nice to see libs tear each other apart.
On the other hand, this level of unpersoning, scares me. I believe in innocence, until proven guilty, shitlibs obviously don't. They pretty much destroyed his entire career over a mere accusation, which could very well be baseless. Unlike Depp, he is not famous enough to somewhat redeem himself, as the people who used to be his fans, gladly stabbed him in the back.

The guy they got did a damn job. It's very, very close to the original. Only if you're being super autistic do you truly notice a difference. That said... Rick does sound a bit off mostly when screaming. This Rick sounds softer. Morty sounds the closest to the original and is pretty much 1-1.

I wonder if they used any of those fancy A.I. tools to tweak the voice?

I think one of two things happened: either Justin Roiland is a huge sex pervert and thus a liability and Adult Swim were eager to dump him as a result. Or, this is some kind of powerplay to kick Roiland out and have more control over the cartoon and everything was coordinated

Whether the new guy is close or not, I honestly prefer these new voices over Roiland's from the last season. Rick's voice and screaming was starting to get legitimately grating and you could tell Roiland was just not giving his 100% anymore, this new guy's voice is a bit softer and not as aggressive and rough and I kinda like it that way. Morty's is pretty much the same, not much to say there.

I'm surprised that someone actually did a good job voicing Rick, but he couldn't scream like what Roiland does when playing Rick. I'd say the VA for Morty is slightly off, and it's gonna take me a long time to get used to this.
