Reorganization of September 29th, 2025

I think a few people (including myself) missed that you could click the new tags in the title to get back to show you all the threads with that same tag, basically you can still get the subforums back.

It will be interesting to get some exposure to some threads I might not even see otherwise.

Have to get used to using the filters then, but I suppose it will give me more exposure to other lolcows that I would otherwise not bother looking at due to visiting certain subsections mostly.

is this the place we petition some changes in Guntchat?

like getting rid of the 'yeah' emote that automatically replaces those words and fucks up the flow

i would also like to petition the gif from ralph sayin 'azulghhgahgh' to automatically pop up every time someone writes that word.

I was just about to check this, it works great and actually bumps up a few threads I hadn't seen. Good stuff and removes the "what board is this person in because they're an internet famous grifter lowcow" issue.

I :like: the changes and actually find the site much easier to navigate now, the tags system is a good one (multi-tags when? I want categories within my categories) however...

Yes, me, LITERALLY ME, individuals are boring the greater collective is where it's at.

I think a primary thing that could help grow the site is having genuine HAPPENINGS threads instead of A&H "da jooz" vs "da juice" threads that they always turn into. It's a real problem for site regulars.

Proposal: auto-highlighting in threads that have been marked as LIVE HAPPENING (or some shit) be turned off, or ignore "negative" reactions or weigh and ignore things with the :politisperg:head.

Because it's a fucking nightmare to be in a live shooting thread and trying to find updates that aren't the A&H known entities fucking off as usual. The Kirk thread after you banned a bunch of threadshitters was much nicer. Maybe you need dedicated highlight mods or something, because going through an active ICE shooter thread and the highlights are NOT the post with his dox, or the post with his roof painting, or even the post with his sister's butthole; this is not the farms.

THEN: lock that shit behind closed (account) doors. Fucking unlogged in niggers can read A&H joozposting, but if they want up-to-the minute live reporting (which KF is fucking pretty damn decent at, as an aggregator at least, if not a primary source), then they can get a fucking account.

Or maybe highlights could be flagged as "political sperging" kind of like old slashdot meta-moderation, and a setting in profile could turn off "political sperging" highlights.

At a certain point I started looking at the front page of the site with dread. It's too long. It doesn't make sense. Nobody not familiar with the Kiwi Farms can navigate the fucking bullshit mess of arbitrary distinctions. It's my fault for making it to begin with.
It's still too long, but I interact with the site entirely via "What's New" and watched threads.

I am fine with all of these changes except community watch getting merged. I was infact the guy that goes "hmm today I want to look at threads only about communities and not specific people" that was me.

I wasn't expecting to grace the Beauty Parlor again since Stinkditch was moved out of that board, but I suppose I'll continue to observe how RDS sufferers seethe. I'm indifferent on having Community Watch merge with Lolcows, but at least the prefix is there for easy filtering.

But then we look at the front page and see Lolcows and Community Watch. What the fuck does that mean? What person logs in and is thinking to themselves

I know it's a rhetorical question, but I imagine a lot of people. Personally I find every modern lolcow boring because they're all basically the same thing at this point (thanks, social media!), but communities can still be funny or at least interesting because of their unique dynamics.

Not that this change will really affect me personally.

>changing site because PPH was too low

ib user to the very end...

As a thread watcher enjoyer this impacts basically nothing for how I use the site. I've repeatedly thought some of the lolcow buckets were arbitrary and unintuitive.
The prefix update is appreciated.

Ah yes a very organized thread with custom updated tags. 10/10, now all we need in the next five years is an in real life convention to go to like something awful did so we can face dox each other.

Me. Threads like Reddit or Resetera generals always provide me a quick fix of retards to laugh at. Meanwhile most lolcow threads (with exception for mah boi Bossman for example) boil down to "this guy sexts minors on Discord" and/or "this guy posted a moronic take on Twitter."
