The funniest part is that the most pathetic and active mods aren't even some retarded teenagers that have nothing better to do, they're actual adults often over 25. Try picturing what your life is like, monitoring reddit all day everyday to delete the hundreds of comments you don't like. You do it for free and you hate every single moment of it but you can't stop.

I've met one of them at a birthday party. She was the second most autistic person I ever talked to and she could only talk about reddit.

Second most autistic? Someone worse than a power mod on reddit has to be pretty fucking bad.

Not a shock for them to only talk about reddit, if they're continually patrolling it for wrongthink they quite literally have nothing else going on in their lives save for eating and sleeping. They're on a constant vigil for bad thinkies and they will die at their post.

It does make me wonder what these sorts of people were doing before the existence of reddit and other such forms of 'entertainment', were they the preachy in-your-business types of yesteryear, gossip mongers, or wanna-be church deacons?

Yes, I once met a guy in a talk group that couldn't figure out why his wife said she felt bad about him saying he didn't know if he still loved her and also didn't understand why he felt bad when she cheated on him.

Like every sentence he spoke was like a three act play of misery down the road because he was blind to emotions on a deep level. It was morbidly entertaining in a way.

He ended his story with saying he was fine with it all now, while his emotions were somewhere between crying and furious anger. Quite a thing to behold.

Btw the girl redditmod meeting was after smart phones were common, but before it was common to see people use them in company. If I saw her now she'd probably ban some people while we're talking. She also had this kind of uneven, gravelly voice, similar to what a lot of trannies, dykes and genderqueers have. But since it was before the whole tranny thing, I'm pretty sure she wasn't one.

Didn't you know that being a Harvard graduate makes you a genius and means your opinions have more merit than the unwashed and uneducated masses? Tom might actually believe he's raging against the machine when he's protesting against racists and "nazi" conservatives, but those people he rages at are on the opposing side of the machine. How exactly do you rage against a machine that agrees with every opinion you have? Tom isn't raging against the machine, he's raging against people who refuse to fully integrate into the machine. It almost sounds like he's attempting to keep in line with a political image that will help him to shill his music, whether or not it's intellectually viable nor in line with the current landscape. He may well be self-aware enough to know how dumb his opinion is, yet unable to change it for fear of alienating his audience. In short, he's not so much raging against the machine, as he is an audioslave.

This kind of behavior used to be classified as enforcing sadism, a mental disorder common among various nigger abuse specialists. Given that only losers become Reddit admins, I think it's probable that most of them would have become cops had they not discovered jannying.

40 years ago the people who would make up the wokie crowd today found their calling in being church ladies. Internet culture warriors have all the same amount of busybody moralizing, but with none of the charity work that the church ladies would also do. Instead of feeding or clothing the homeless the wokies now just have to press a like button to get the dopamine hit they need to justify their moral superiority.
