The people that post there do not represent people in their own countries at all or what your average person thinks, they always are "stereotypical subreddit bot"

r/vzla was found out to be a compromised honeypot a long time ago. The moderators turned out to be card carrying communists who lived abroad, one of them nicknamed mkuv worked for MORENA ( current ruling party in Mexico) and was actively suppresing speech and promoting left wing politicians using alts both in the venezuelan subs and other hispanic speaking subs. One mod also was a journalist actively paid by Open Society through a local NGO.

Despite pretending to be an anti-chavismo sub r/vzla is full of progressive propaganda and every other post is about how "TRUMP IS BAD", "ICE BAD" and "LGBT IS GOOD". Even with all the events happening this year every other post is still about how trump is Hitler and its suddenly his fault that Venezuela is not inmediatly fixed. A lot of venezuelans and latinos in general in the USA are legal citizens and they voted to see the ilegals kicked out by ICE. r/vzla is deeply butthurt against these people existing and call them every slur they can come up with and press the ban button if they see one in the wild.
They are extremely
anti-gun despite the horrible crime rates in Venezuela and the dictatorship benefitting from disarming the population. They regularly have discussions talking about how terrible it is that gringos have gun ownership. same content you'd expect to see in any angloid sub. They care more about random shootings in the USA than extortion gangs killing people by the thousands inside Venezuela.
They even made up their own meme about how "Trump is literally Hugo Chavez" , Milei is also Chavez, Bukele is also like Chavez, basically every single right wing candidate gets accused by r/vzla of being " just like Chavez". Their main purpose of existing as a subreddit seems to be telling venezuelans abroad who are naturalized that they should vote for leftists in local elections. This is r/vzla's main gimmick "Right winger are the real chavismo, vote for woketarded socialists"
A long time ago when r/vzla had their dissenter progrom and banhammer waves a new sub was formed called
r/pueblovenezolano.
r/pueblovenezolano was supposed to be where all the right wing chuds migrated to, to talk bad about chavismo and the left and not be banned for discussing venezuelan politics. But wouldn't you know it, today, r/pueblovenezolano is moderated by leftists, one of them a literal tranny anime avatar and they went on its own banwave on a crusade to get rid of all the regular chuddies who were "opposing chavismo wrong" and now its on the same rotation of threads about how great and amazing LGBT and progressive policies are and how Venezuela needs more free HRT and gay marriage.
The entire sub is now effectively r/vzla 2.0 is just Furries and trannies and asexuals and nonbinaries circlejerking about how right wingers and conservatives are the real chavistas. They banned some of their most active members who questioned corrupt policians and posted typical chuddie stuff on a regular basis, the current moderation got so butthurt that they basically demonized some of these users and anyone who posts a "problematic" take gets accused of being their alts.
r/askvenezuelans is just the aformentioned pronouns people and furries asking where to meet and where to get HRT in Venezuela or how to hide being an uwu venetranny from their evil family members.
The rest of the posts are onlyfans whores and scammers looking to farm karma.
